I was very pleased to find this high quality pad for a fraction of the price of the same piece elsewhere. It truly enhances the lovely rug which I also bought through Overstock. I am thrilled.

I host open houses and vend shows atleast twice a month. I recent bought an area rug for the entrance to my booth but with all of the traffic in and out, it moved and the corners kept flipping up. I was afraid a customer was going to trip so I started researching options because I love my rug. Let me tell you, this rug pad is more than perfect! I have not seen the corners flip up once and my rug now stays where I put it. I had to trim it a little because my rug is not exactly 8'x11' but scissors cut through the pad easily. I read that this pad also works on carpet so I am curious to check that out since I have a show coming up at a local convention center that is carpeted.

Its a great pad and the thickness is perfect for any rug. It also does what it say's---does not slid one bit. You need a pair of big scissors to cut it.

Size was perfect and the rug does not slip AT ALL!!! This along with the other rug pads I purchased are better quality than you can find at most stores, but the price is outstanding!!! compared to any local store checked.

My only problem was that the rug doesn't stay put very well on top. I guess I will use alittle two sided tape.

A very thick pad. My fault that I didn't know much about pads when ordering this one. Size was exact. Thickness was more than I expected and provides more cushion than I needed. It makes the rug very soft (which is OK if that's what you want) but because of the pad thickness it must be cut back a number of inches from edge of rug so it will not hold rug edge up from the floor. My subsequent pad purchase for a similar rug was much more satisfactory because I learned to get a thinner pad.

I had to trim this rug pad with a scissors because area rug sizes can be so inaccurate. Be sure to carefully position the pad in the room before placing the area rug because the pad really GRIPS the floor--it won't slide at all.

I have two dogs that like to drop toys and run around. So I needed this pad to not only keep my rug in place but also make it more quiet. It definitely does that. Hardly even a sound.

You can't beat the quality and price of this rug pad. It doesn't leave the inprints that the plasticy type with the wholes in it. If you want a great rug pad I highly suggest this one. Nice under the feet and makes the rug easier to vacuum. Stays in place due to its density and weight. Great buy!!!

Perfect pad if you want cushion and non skid. Worth the extra money. Not easy to cut with scissors. You need a heavy matt knife or box cutter and it goes very fast. I highly recommend this pad.

The rug pad was exactly what I ordered. It needed to be cut down to accommodate an 8X10 rug, but that was relatively easy to do. The rug and rug pad look great togethr.

So much better than the ones you buy at WalMart. The extra felt makes all the difference in the wolrd and it's not moving anywhere with the rubber underside. Realize your probably going to have to cut the pad to fit under your area rug. My recommendation is to tunr the rug over, and place the pad on the top, then cut the pad 2" (2 inches) inside the edge of the rug. I did vacuum the pad like other reviews suggested, but had no issue with the pad not laying flat under the rug, even though it came folded up. I think some people might have bought to thick of a pad for the thickness of rug.....just my two cents. Love the pad!

Shopped around and this was the best pad for my antique tribal Persian rug. Great price also.

I had purchased a thin carpet for my bedroom and knew I needed something with some padding since it would go down over hardwood. This pad worked great and has given just the additional padding I was looking for. The carpet has not shifted at all either. I have made several purchases from Overstock and have been extremely happy each time with not only the product but the delivery time. "I'll be back".

it is under the rug so I never see it but it seems to do a good job holding the rug in place on my hardwood floors

It certainly does hold my 8x11 rug that I also purchased on O. I would recommend rug pad if you have a carpet.

Really nice rug pad which makes a huge difference in feel in our kilim. We needed it so our little one can crawl around on it. This pad has no smell and appears to be well made and should last a long time. Overall, I'm very pleased with the product quality and price. I've purchased 3!
