I did a lot of research about what kind of padding I would need for my area rug that I was putting on top of my new laminate flooring. After doing some research online, I decided that this was the best product to protect my floors and prevent my carpet from skidding. It looks and smells funny, but once you put your carpet on top, no one can see it. I did have to cut some of it in order to get the size exactly right for my carpet, and if you don't have a sharp pair of scissors, it's really tough to cut. So far, it hasn't damaged my floors the best that I can see (though I've only had it for three months) and my carpets are skid-free, albeit, furniture is sitting on top of it. I do like the fact that it does make my area rugs more padded though, which is a nice bonus.

I purchased these for two 8x10 rugs, 1 Chinese, 1 Persian. They are non-slide and provide just the right amount of cushion, while still being solid. Just like the ones grandma used to have.

I was looking for something to add a little cushioning to our living room rug since our toddler spends so much time on it. This was exactly what I needed, it's nice and thick, very heavy, and has a non-slip layer on the side that goes on the floor. It arrived folded in a thick plastic bag so it was very easy to unpack (not a lot of extra packaging to dispose of) and it flattened right out under our wool rug. It had a little bit of an odor when we first opened it, but that aired out overnight. I would definitely buy another of these in the future, you can't beat the price, especially if you compare to locally. Overstock beat everyone by almost 50%!

Rug pads are exactly as advertised. They aren't quite as thick as I had hoped but the density and size are satisfactory. The rubber backing provides excellent non-slip adherence. I have only had the pads (2 of them) for about a month so I cannot speak to long term durability but they have completely met our needs. We use them on a tile floor under some area rugs. Good quality for the price.

I expected the rug pad to be smooth, but it was really rough. There were strange materials sticking out of the pad which contributed to the rough texture. I ended up keeping it because I didn't want to go through rolling back the huge pad to ship back. One plus for the pad is that it is thick.

We are very pleased with the product. It came folded up but the super grip on the back pulled it flat within hours. It is exactly the right size for our O.co rug and makes a wonderful pair. I would definitely buy this again.
