This rug pad is Exactly what I was looking for. The size is Perfect..it fits underneath my 5X7 rug with a 1 inch rug overlap. PERFECT! It keeps the rug solidly in place and gives it a wonderful extra cushion. This is a very old persian rug that has lost some cushion and this pad makes it a joy to my feet once again!

This is a great rug pad for the price. I actually bought it in various sizes for other area rugs in my home. I selected this particular item over others based on customer reviews. Shipping was fast, it flattened out almost immediately. I highly recommend.

It was purchased to keep the 7'6"X9'10" rug in place and it surprised me that it did. However, walking along its perimeter definitely showed my miscalculation.

I have ordered about 5 of these for the rugs I've purchased from Overstock. One was very large, which I easily cut to size with a utility knife for a 14' runner, and two smaller rugs. Having these pads under the rugs makes a world of difference in how plush they look, as well as how comfortable they are to walk on. I'm sure they help protect my wood floors, too. Everything I've ordered from Overstock has been super!!

Products are worth the price as I have tried less expensive pads with poor results. I have hard wood flors and these provide warmth as well as prevent slippage

The rug pad was rolled nicely for shipping and I had no trouble with it laying flat on the floor. The thickness of it makes the area rug very soft to walk on, but it would be too thick near a door. I bought a second one to put under the matching runner in the entry hall and the door doesn't clear the height. I wanted the area rug to overlap the pad so it needed to be trimmed a little and that was easy. I used a yardstick to measure and mark the cut line; then put a 2x4 under the pad so I wouldn't accidently "cut" my hardwood floor. A carpet knife made quick work of the edge that had to be cut. I would not recommend scissors for the job.

This rug pad was the answer to my issues with my living room rug. With a not very observant husband, crazy dog, and eleven year old boy (and friends), my living room rug (also from Overstock, naturally!) was CONSTANTLY sliding, which drove me crazy (no one else appeared to mind). It not only keeps the rug firmly in place, it makes it feel like a super plush, very expensive carpet. My husband has even commented on how good it feels underfoot... Go Overstock! I recommend this site to everyone I know.

These non-slip rug/carpet pads are advertised accurately, perform as stated, and are about half the price of what I was quoted at a well-known furniture store (Bassett).

This rug pad works very well (it's the second one I've purchased), The only downside, is that I am using it with a rug in my foyer and it was so thick that it makes opening the front door difficult. We just shortened it a bit to allow the door to swing freely.

We just had our hardwood floors refinished and I bought ths rug pad to protect the wood and keep the rug from sliding around. It has the bonus of adding a little cushion to the rug and generally making the rug feel nicer under my feet. And it does a great job of keeping the rug in place. My rug was more like 5 x 7, so I had to trim the pad down. I was able to cut it (with difficulty) with regular scissors and I was even able to use the scrap piece under a small scatter rug. I've had the pad under the rug now for quite a few months and it's working very well and does not discolor or stick to the wood floors like some of those cheaper waffle rug pads. I would definitely recommend this rug pad.

I went ahead and got rug pads for all of the rugs I bourght for my downstairs hardwood surfaces. These pads make all the difference in the world. It will secure the rug in place, is discreet, and easy to customize to fit any rug. I simply used a sharp pair of scissors and cut it to fit.
