We bought the giant bath sheets in white and really liked them, so I decided to get a colored set of regular sized bath towels. The plum color was a bit darker and murkier than I expected but we were ok with that. However, the first time we washed them (following the instructions from The Queen of Clean for laundering towels, even!) the dye completely ran. And not just an oh-well kind of overall color bleed, either. Now the towels look visibly streaked in varying color tones. Very disappointing.
The towels are thick without being shaggy towel. The towel is larger than the average bath towel. The color is as described. And it pills very little. These are thirsty attractive well made towels. I am very pleased with them.
The towels are beautiful! And wearing very well. I first purchased them for a relative; she loves them (so did I!) So I then ordered a double set for myself. The color of the mauve did not match the color grid nor coordinate well with Plum; it was more light muddy brown which was dissappointing, so I ordered the white. They are easy to wash and dry and ready to use again. I love them and highly recommend them.
First really nice set of towels I've ever owned. Well worth the price. And the whole experience was a lot easier and more painless than buying at a big box store.
