I buy cotton bath mats to protect my tile floors from dripping water from the shower or bath. Most of the time, the mats aren't thick enough to absorb much of the water and wind up being so wet I must hang them up to dry or rewash them and dry them in the dryer. I was surprised and impressed with these cotton mats from Overstock. First of all, they are thicker than any of the other mats I have purchased from well known retail stores. I ordered white and the mats are a snow white which matches my towels. They are the same design as the Polo brand at half the price and twice the value, due to the thickness and quality of the mats. I washed the mats and dryed them in my dryer. The mats retained their dimensional stability and came through the drying process well. I did not see any shrinkage nor distortion in the mat. The cotton is very good quality and I am happy with this purchase. In fact, the face towels and hand towels I ordered from Overstock are the 800 supreme cotton type and I can recommend those also.
Bath mats are great quality, great price. I specifically wanted 100% cotton and these are plush, wash well and maintain color. Exactly what I was looking for!!!!
I am used to bath mats that have the backing made from rubber; theses are like one reviewer said "towel-like." They are really like laying a thin towel on your bathroom floor.But I love the color, they do absorp my shower spill-off(light), and I will keep them as back-up mats while I continue to look for a heavier version like I grew up with......
I love the bath mats. I bought two sets of two different shades of blue. Really nice and thick material. I am very pleased with them. Great appearance and very absorbent.
I was expecting a bathmat that had the rubber, non-slip backing. I did not expect them to be towels in the shape of a mat... I ended up returning them.
