Nice, thick pad that makes our rug feel that much more plush. We ordered an 8 x 11 pad to go under an 8 x 11 rug. No cutting or trimming necessary. Fits perfectly and will keep our rug from shifting and protect the hardwoods underneath. Saw similar pads on the internet at higher prices. Very happy with this purchase.

I didn't expect such a thick shag carpet, so this was a plus since I purchased it for my bedroom. It's soft and wonderful to walk on. The color, lime green was true to the picture on the internet. If you are looking for a carpet that adds texture to the room, this one is for you. Only negative, don't soil the rug they recommend if you spill something blot it up quickly because the pile is so high and thick, professional cleaning is recommended. So this is not a rug for living/dining rooms.

I'm extremely pleased with the Superior Hard Surface and Carpet Rug Pad and find it to be, well, superior. I was a little worried after reading the comments if I would need to cut it for my 8 x 11 rug but it fit beautifully. Just the right amount of cushion and support for my morning yoga workout!

Arrived when told it would and when we opened it, what a lovely surprise to find a quality rug at this price. We have a a golden and a laborador retrievers and four cats - this does not show dirt and vaccuums very well. After I complete the redecorating of my dining room, I will definitely order another rug from Overstock. Thanks for your great customer service.

we've had this great dining room rug for several years but never had a pad. finally opted to get this delicious pad via overstock.com because someone would bring it to us and for such a low delivery price. it quickly arrived. we put it down, put our rug over it, trimmed up the pad a bit as it was a generous cut - and voila ... our still beautiful but felt flat rug now has depth and cushioning to it ... it feels brand new and the whole "feel" is more luxurious ... who knew a pad could make SUCH a difference. thanks!

The rug pad arrived in only a few days. I was wondering how it would ship being that it is 8 x 11 feet and I was surprised that it was folded in half. I rolled it out, put the area rug on top and trimmed one edge. It is absolutely the best. The area rug feels so much thicker and we like sitting on the floor again.

I had just bought a quality wool rug for over 1k but it just looked kind of limp on the floor and I thought it could really benefit from a good pad. All I could find locally were the rubber things they call pads and that wasn't what I wanted. I decided to try Overstock and found just what I was looking for. It arrived quickly and my husband and I easily put it down and rolled the rug over it. What a nice difference! It gave the rug definition and shape and it is much nicer to walk on too. I'd definitely recommend the pad to anyone looking for one. I put it under a $1400 rug and it made the rug look even better... You won't be sorry about this purchase!

We just installed hardwoods and wanted to use an area rug from our previous house. Based on other reviews, I, too, purchased the Superior Hard Surface and Carpet Rug Pad. This one is so much better than those rubber-waffle types. Walking on it feels just as it does on regular carpeting with padding. I am also going to order the 9 x 12 to use under the area rug in our dining room.

I received this pad quickly and put it beneath my new rug. It offers a wonderful cushion. Comfortable enough to get down on with the babies. Was easy to cut to size. I have nothing to compare this to since it is my first purchase of a pad and I've had it 2 weeks now~that's why the 4 stars~ but I'm perfectly happy with it and consider it a great price. Another great Overstock purchase. Thanks!
