I debated about whether to buy the Premium, Superior or Durable carpet pad offered by Overstock. I assumed that the more expensive pad (Premium or Superior) was better quality than the less expensive (Durable) so I chose the Superior which was middle-of-the-road in price. The Superior is fine, but I recently ordered another rug pad (9 x 12) and decided to try the Durable instead since it was cheaper. I was shocked by the fact that for less money, the quality seemed so much better. The Durable is the Safeviah brand and it is noticeably thicker than the Superior pad. In my opinion, it is a much better value unless you prefer a thinner rug pad. Hope this helps you in your decision-making.

Great pad for your expensive tufted or hand knotted carpet. Will make it feel softer, thicker, and preserve its life. will not allow any slippage on your floor even without furniture on it. Highly recommend and the price is better than what you will pay at a carpet store for same. The precut on the 6 X 9 is about 3/4 to 1 inch less in measure than actual all the way around which is exactly what you want, no cutting required before laying.

This pad is the type I would buy for indoor/outdoor carpets where a thin pad is desirable. I would have preferred a thicker pad although this one is OK. It would be helpful to include the thickness in your description and possibly state that it is a low-profile pad.

Very good complement to recently purchased 6x9 rug. Slightly less thick and cushiony than I had envisioned, but the picture and description online are quite accurate and the pad does provide a nice additional layer of protection and "springiness" between wood floor and carpet.

I read other reviews on Overstock before deciding which rug pad to get and am so happy with this one. my rug no longer bunches, it makes walking on the rug softer, and its a deal. I highly recommend

Product is as advertised. It is between 1/4" and 1/2" thick with a rubber side for hard floors and a fabric side for carpet. The pad holds the rug well such that it does not slip, however it doesn't add much padding or cushion. There are 3 minor issues with the pad: 1) The pad is folded and rolled for shipping. The creases created by folding the pad cause some "bumps" in the overlayed rug. I am hoping these will flatten out over time, but am uncertain they will without specifically laying a heavy item on them for an extended duration. 2) The pad is not cut straight. It was not a perfect rectangle and some edges needed to be trimmed. However, it was easy to trim and this was minor. 3) There is a minor smell to the pad that likely comes from the manufacture process. It is not heavy but it is noticable. As with the creases, I am hoping the smell will dissipate over time as the pad airs out. Overall, the pad does what is advertised and it was worth the price paid.

The rug pad fits great under our 6x9 rug. It does have a slight tendancy to slip a little on our laminate floor. Overall, we are pleased with the product.

This good quality pad added to the plush feeling of our new area rug from Overstock.com! My guest commented upon the new rug after she stepped on it and noticed the thickness.

Carpet pad was a great asset to the area rug I bought.

At first glance, it looked like it was only 3 feet wide but it's folded and is actually 6 feet as described.

This pad is not thick enough. It's fine if you want a thin pad, but I wanted a little cushion.

Sized to fit under rug size without sticking out from the sides. Liked it so much, ordered another in 2 x 6 size.

tHIS RUG PADWAS WELL MADE AND STURDY. THE PAD WAS CUT ACURATELY AND THE EDGES WERE CLEANLY CUT AND EVEN.

I bought this in two different sizes for my Oriental Carpets. The pad also helps to prolong the life of the carpet. What a great price! I couldn't find it for a better price plus the shipping can't be beat.

Thick and sturdy...perfect to insulate noise and provide a cushion for the rug

I will never buy another rug without getting a rug pad as well. It makes such a difference! It may seem like a bit cost--esp. in relation to a very affortable rug--but walking or laying on the rug will be much, much nicer. I bought rugs on overstock for my family room and kids' room and got rug pads as well. It makes the rug feel much more plush and comfortable. I like that these have double uses--one side for hard flooring, the other for use over carpet.

Took a day or two to flatten out after being folded and rolled for transit. Was easy to trim to size with a matte knife. My rug has not budged an inch and feels very nice to walk on/ I would buy it again.

This is the second rug pad we've ordered. The first was very satisfactory, and so is this, larger, one. Shipment has been extremely prompt, and you cannot beat the price!
