Very good underlayment for rug on a hardwood floor; gives the rug some 'loft' and it stays in place. Great shipping. I would have rated this very good because I think there is room for another level between Good and Excellent.

My husband and I purchased one of these premium rug pads for all of our area rugs. They are very good, but please know you will definately have to trim them on all sides with a heavy duty pair of scissors. My husband actually took a yard stick and marker to mark the pad so trimming/cutting was easier to do. Remember to place the rubber side on the flooring and the scratchy side up so you don't scratch your floors.

A nice thick pad, it really makes the rug look and feel better. Only problem was getting it to lay flat out of the package - took a while to settle but fine now. I am pleased witht his pad.
