Looking for a featherbed--This is the one!! I was leary when I received it and opened it up because of past experiences with purchasing other featherbeds. Not this one--they are not kidding when they say 5-inches thick it really is!! And to receive a cover sheet for that price-unbelievable. Lay it out on your bed and slide your cover sheet on--it begins to instantly fluff up and rise. I pushed the sides in and the top and bottom in and up until it is piled up like a pyramid on my bed, I let it sit that way to air out and fluff up. It really works--I do this every other week to really fluff it up-- and believe me it responds. I have to tell you that it is truly like sleeping on a cloud!! I had a friend who was store buying featherbeds for twice the cost and returning them because he was so dissatisfied. I told him to purchase this one and he loves it. He said,"Finally a featherbed that is all that it says it is...I cannot believe how comfortable this is." It is well worth the price..... and one comparable in quality would easily go for twice the price. If you have had similiar experiences with trying to find a good featherbed--Seriously!!---Look No More--This Is The One!!

It was delivered yesterday (Friday). No bad smell at all. It had to be shaken and aired out so that it can "breathe" to allow it get fluffy. We call it the PUFFY bed. This featherbed is HEAVY - the fill is very high. Its comfortable and soft - while it gives support. You will have to shake it every day or so to make sure it remains "puffy" - as you would with any other featherbed. The included duvet cover is very smooth (high thread count) - fits like a glove and does not allow for the feathers come through. The height of ours is as stated 5". Its stitched in sections to prevent the feathers from shifting to one side of the featherbed. We purchased the King size and its covers our mattress perfectly. We are very pleased with this product. It was purchased to replace the (more expensive) 3" featherbed we've had for over three years and was not as high and highly filled as this one. Highly recommend a featherbed to all my friends, its the ultimate luxurious item for your bedroom. This one will be on the top of the list of recommendations! Our first night sleeping on it, well ...let me just say we did not get out of bed until noon!! A great purchase at an incredible price. Super fast shipping. Overstock.com does it again!

I read through most of the reviews from worst to highest and was ready to give this an honest go. My full size order came as advertised, only a light amount of settling that a few vigorous shakes and flips fixed. After putting on the included cover, I also fitted a "Full-size Plush Electric Mattress Pad" that I bought from overstock on top. The over sized skirt had no problems to accommodate the extra 5". On top of that I also loosely layered a regular bedsheet before hitting the sack. I feel my expectations were met in terms of comfort. Not disappointed whatsoever! The only issue I can see people having is indeed it can make the bed appear lumpy and uneven in certain tight layered situations. Not an issue for me as I am looking for maximum comfort. I love this product! Best night of rest i've had in a while... MUCH more comfortable than a 70$ synthetic topper I bought from a local dept. store for a friend. I regard this as one of the best bang-for-buck bedding investments i've ever done. My expectations came from my memory of an extremely comfortable cloud bed during a stay in Vegas, and I am very happy I was finally able to replicate that feeling at home for such a cheap price!

I purchased this feather bed for an elderly friend. He had been having trouble getting a good nights sleep. He loves this bed and has been sleeping better and longer. He highly recommends it!

Wonderful product! Excellent fit over our mattress. Has improved our nightly sleep.The only problem?It's hard to leave the bed each morning--I'd rather stay snuggled in!

After reading all the great reviews, I thought this feather bed was the answer to getting a great nights sleep. I've been sleeping on a memory foam pad.When it arrived and I took it out of the box, I noticed immediately that the thing seems to be lined with plastic or something. It makes a crunchy sound when you get on it or move on it. No matter, I thought, because when I initially laid on it, it felt comfortable and I couldn't wait to try it out for the night.That night I laid on it and it felt comfortable. However the feathers pack down pretty easily. I found myself tossing and turning all night and felt like I hardly slept in the morning. The next night was the same, so I took it off and put it back in the box.If your not a light sleeper this thing might work for you. I'd go for something made of white goose down.

Very deep feather bed. Fluffs up easily. Had no problem with any unusual smells. Comes with a cover.That makes keeping it clean a breeze. Bought one for all the beds in my house and then bought one had it shipped to my son's house to put in their guest bedroom. Now I will have one, there ,when I go to visit. Eases the usual aches and pains you wake up with. Good value..well made.

great bed my husband and I really have gotten hooked on the great sleep we get. This is the 2nd or 3rd one I have purchased. This one is used for our guests who comment how comfortable it is.

This feather bed is outstanding!! I have actually bought 3 over the past 2 years- one for my bed and the other two as gifts. The fact that the zipper featherbed cover comes included in the price is quite an added bonus. If you were to buy a cover in the store, they are at least an ADDITIONAL $25.00 above the cost of the featherbed.Speaking of the cost of the featherbed- you will never find a featherbed of this quality for this price in any department store. It just won't happen.If you are looking for a great nights' sleep, try this featherbed. You won't be disappointed.

If you havent had an easy time of it getting a good night's sleep, you are going to LOVE this item!After shopping around, I finally settled on this one because of the reviews, and I admit, because of the 5 inches of promised comfort. Well..this product met every single expectation set out by the previous reviewers, and then some. The very first night I used this on my bed, I slept like a baby! I prefer a firm mattress, and was afraid this would be too 'mushy' but to my delight, it was heavenly! The fabric and workmanship are what you would expect in a higher priced item, and they threw in a bonus zip on cover too! Hard to find a better deal or a more comfy feather bed than this one! Sweet dreams!

Before purchasing I researched MANY of the same type of item. I read all the reviews. This featherbed had the best overall comments and I can only add, they were right! Thank you for the positive reviews because they lead me to purchase this featherbed and I have to say it is off-the-charts incredible. If you're thinking about adding comfort or softness to your night's sleep, this is the ticket. Those old aches and pains disappear into this cloud of heavenly fluffyness. It is substantial, top quality and a lifesaver. I would tell anyone to get this and enjoy a beautiful night's rest.

I had seen multiple reviews stating this product was worth the money - I was happy with the quality/cover but not as comfortable as I was hoping - firm. I was disappointed with the shipping - it took over 10 days to arrive.

This featherbed is dreamy. I bought it for the sofabed, but after my guest left I put it on MY bed. Looks like I'll be getting another for the sofabed. LOL. It's very thick & heavy, the cover is soft, there was no odor when I unpacked it. This has been the best week of sleep I've had in a long while! YAY!!! :)

We've had this featherbed about three weeks now. I love it!! I'm finally sleeping through the nightI wake with no more aches and pains. I highly recommend this to anyone having trouble sleeping..

My husband and I bought this topper b/c I'm pregnant and our memory foam bed stopped feeling so great. The topper provides good support, but does flatten out. Overall I'm happy with the product and am sleeping better now. Like other reviewers, I fluff it up weekly to keep it soft.

This feather bed was worth every penny! It was by far the cheapest one I could find on the internet and in store for what I wanted. It is pretty heavy but easy to fluff. I have slept so well since I received it. Fast shipping too!

although i guess this is good quality product it is not for me. Flattens out and then bunches up in spots . Mine is in a heap on the floor. Wont be using it.

My husband and I purchased a Tempurpedic bed 3 years ago. Overtime, I experienced a lot of aches and pains each time I woke up. It wasn't until we stayed at the Ritz Carlton that I realized it was our bed that was causing me so much pain. Ritz Carlton has featherbed toppers, and I noticed how great I felt after spending 4 nights at their hotel. From this experience, I immediately went online to look for a featherbed topper but was discouraged because of how expensive they were until I found this one at overstock.com. At first, I waited a week - and found that I shouldn't have because things sell out quickly on this site. I learned my lesson! I kept checking the site periodically and finally, they had this topper in king size available again. I immediately purchased. I am now a proud owner of this bed topper. It feels like a cloud. Thanks to the other reviews on this product - I chose the right one!
