Have had the unit plugged in for a week now, followed instructions to a "T" after stocking cooler it still has not gotten to the set temperature I set on the controls and its been running for over a week now. It does make quite a bit of noise also but the previous reviews stated that and I still bought it anyways just wished it would work a little better maintaning the temperature.

Plugged the wine cooler, read the instructions and it states if it makes noise to make sure that it is balanced, well it was and the noise continued thought the night, I am returning this piece of metal, it is nice but makes so much noise for the price.

so if you are a real wine geek and want to have a nice collection that is worth more than the price of the wine cooler, you might want to get a better model. this model is okay. it makes a bit of noise but overall its okay. don't use both areas for different wines. use one temp for both! you can always put your white wine in the fridge. otherwise your good reds will not be temp controlled.

for the price this is a great wine cooler... seriously, if you expect a $900 wine cooler, you should buy a $900 wine cooler... I found that it fit the bottles fine if i configured the bottles by turning some backwards or putting some on the bottom shelf. also, the shelves pull out, so that made it easier to slide the larger ones in. sure it didn't fit EVERY bottle... but it's a great wine cooler for a cheap price. I've had it for a month now and so far I haven't heard the fan except when I first turned it on (although it is winter, so the temperature in the house is cooler) and it is maintaining the temperature.

I like it !! The good thing is that it's already assembled except for the door handle !! Thought it would be heavier, but it looks great in my kitchen !!
