Dehumidifier works great so far, after about a month of use. It is very quiet (quieter than a typical bathroom vent, for example) and looks good. We have been having mold problems in our old apartment with poor construction, and this seems to be helping by taking a cup or two of water out of the air per day. The power adaptor does get hot, so this may lead to a short life given constant use. But it seems to be a good value.

I purchased this unit to dehumidify the cabin of my sailboat. The intent was to reduce the humidity in order to minimize the mold and mildew that occurs when the cabin gets humid. It works! We have had it running for a month now. It's setup to drain into the galley sink when the tank is full. I have emptied the tank several times, but the continuous drain option (a simple poly plastic tube that connects to an overflow in the tank) allows the unit to keep on working. (If you don't use the continuous drain, the unit will turn off when the water level gets too high.) After nearly a month, it has made a significant reduction in the cabin humidity. Our boat is on the trailer in South Florida, and we regularly get really high humidity, I mean, really high! and the ambient temperature is regularly in the high 80's this time of year. But the unit still keeps on working. I would give this two thumbs up. Very pleased. I did purchase it on the basis of the price is low enough to not get too disjointed if it does now work as advertised, happily it's doing it's job. Totally pleased. Would definitely recommend this to a friend. Ok, I'll recommend this unit to anyone!

I LOVE THIS DEHUMIDIFER!!!!!! I live on the ocean in northern California - cold and windy. Naturally, it's damp in my 600 square foot bungalow. The large humidifiers I've tried took up way to much of my valuable space and made to much noise. This delightful mini unit has a very small foot print and is quiet as a whisper. I've been using it for two months. As the cold winter season arrives I've really noticed a difference in my household environment. It's certainly dryer, but also warmer. This unit is perfect for small spaces. I highly recommend it.

I bought three of these for moisture in my finished basement.... one in each closet to help with mold problems. They worked perfectly at first and are quiet and I was pleased. But twice now I have had one of them stop working. OS has been helpful to me in solving this problem, (as they always are!) but seems like two out of three to stop working after just a few months is a little much. If I were going to buy more, I'd probably try another brand or at least another model. But as long as they work, they're great. I love OS and use them for lots of my shopping.

The item was exactly as described it was just too small to work for my application.

We weren't sure we even needed a dehumidifier in our finished downstairs but this little machine works amazingly well and picks up at least an inch of water every day! Due to continous storms, my small laundry room in the basement started getting damp walls. I waited for the walls to dry and apply two coats of waterproofing paint on them. At the same time, I wanted a dehumidifier to control humidity and odor and I purchased the mini humidifier because: (1) had great reviews; (2) perfect size for my small room (3) price. I can't stress enough what a great product this is. It is tiny, noiseless and does a great job. I empty the water container every three days, which proves how efficient this little machine is in dehumidifying my room. Love the fact that it makes no noise. I didn't have to spend a fortune to take care of the problem...I absolutely love this mini dehumidifier! Run it 24/7 without it getting hot or malfunctioning.

I am very happy with my mini dehumidifier. I am using it in a small bedroom in my basement and it is working quite well. Within the first night there was a small amount of water in the holding container. Judging from how fast the container is filling I predict I will need to empty it every two weeks. I plan to purchase another mini for the living room area of my basement.

The size is perfect for small spaces. I is very efficient even in large rooms.
