GREAT VALUE, GREAT ITEM! MY TEENAGE DAUGHTERS ASSEMBLED THIS DESK THAT'S HOW EASY IT WAS. VERY ATTRACTIVE AND NOT TOO BULKY.

I read the reviews for this desk but thought how bad could it be? My husband put it together and the swearing soon followed. The boards were not cut evenly and they did not align when you tired to put it together. So the top desk part where you your monitor was leaning to the left. He had to take out his saw and start doing repair work. Never a good thing. We are using the desk now and it looks okay but a bit wobbly. Quality control......that's what I am saying!

This desk looks simple to assemble. It's not. The instructions are awful and the two shelves didn't have any holes predrilled. It took me 3 hours to put this desk together.

We are very happy with Overstock products almost 100% of the time.The desk we ordered came in,as promised in a timely manner.The desk itself was worth the price.The ease of installation was a little difficult as the instructions were not real clear and took us about an hour to put together.When the desk top was to go on, we noticed a chip out of the top side of the desk towards the front. We are unable to hide the chip and my husband refused to dismantle it to send it back. We are still very pleased with the product for the price and the chip we will get used to, as it is not really large. We did tell overstock about it and they offered us a discount on our next purchase.........Thanks Overstock

The desk is just the right size for what I wanted. It has a place for all parts of my desktop including the printer. If only it had a file cabinet, it would be perfect. I would say the color is a little closer to walnut than cherry. Some of the laminate is missing color in some places, but on a whole it is a great little desk. I'm a 54 year old woman and put it together by myself. I wish they had predrilled the holes for the pieces that slide out. It was a little hard to tell where to put the hardware. But all and all, a good product.

This desk is sturdy and looks nice. Assembly took a while but not too tough. Am pleased with it.

THIS IS THE WORST ITEM WE HAVE PURCHASED ON OVERSTOCK. I HAVE BOUGHT MANY ITEMS AND BEEN VERY PLEASED BUT THIS ONE WAS A NIGHTMARE!THERE WERE NO HOLES PRE-DRILLED IN EITHER OF THE SHELVES. ONE OF THE SIDE PIECES WAS BUSTED. THE THING WEIGHED 77 POUNDS. BEWARE!! UNLESS YOU HAVE MEN TO PUT THIS THING TOGETHER...FORGET IT. THE INSTRUCTIONS WERE NOTHING BUT PICTURES...NO READABLE DIRECTIONS. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE...BEING THAT IT WEIGHS SO VERY MUCH...IMPOSSIBLE TO SHIP BACK SO WE ARE STUCK WITH A PIECE OF JUNK.BEWARE OF PURCHASING THIS SO CALLED COMPUTER DESK.

Delivery was quick and I was able to put it together fairly easily - however, there were a few mistakes on the instructions.

Simple, attractive design - has a very solid, well-built feel to it - fairly easy to assemble (don't be put off by the long, big box!). Very comfortable design...very happy with purchase.

This is a great computer desk. I have a small work area and this desk fits perfectly into the limited space. The design of the desk is just right for my monitor, printer and hard drive. The wood is very sturdy and it looks like it will last for a long time. The only complaint is that when putting the desk together, one of the screws would not tighten and wood glue was used to make sure it stayed in place.
