what's the differwence between this model and the SB22 one ?
To set the record straight I never was able to assemble the rod that held both the hanger and the steam hose. I was "pressed" for time so maybe I'm completely wrong BUT the steamer works great!! When I get back in town I'll have another go at the assembly....

Concept of having a free standing steamer is great. Couple of concerns, hose gets hot to the touch when steaming. Water sputters out of end where steam comes out. Doesn't roll easily.Read More

Easy to use. Having many silk lined pants, cargo pants with intricate pockets and delicate shirts, this steamer is a dream. I was introduced to a garment steamer having worked in the fashion industry and now my iron is collecting dust while I use my steamer. Very simple to use. Just do yourself a favor and read your user manual and get yourself acquainted with your steamer. I'll use my steamer before I'll dust off my iron.Read More
The steamer is a steamer - it does drip water when I use it which is annoying. It doesn't take long to heat up. The issue i have is that you cannot use it say on an ironing board or for curtains because when you lower the hand held device it drips water and stops working. I purchased to steam curtains and give clothes a freshened appearance and it works fine on clothes.Read More
A moonshine still is more likely to win plaudits for sleekness of design than the Sunbeam SB20, but while its form may not follow function, it mostly does the job. I turned to travel-size garment steamers years ago because I resented the fuss and bother of wielding what felt like a a heated anvil over a clumsy ironing board; but while their compactness and light weight were a plus, travel steamers were slow, and the results were uneven. This product converts water into steam quickly; the nozzle is lightweight and maneuverable; the hose is well-insulated and has adequate length of travel. Taking the wrinkles out of garments seems much less of a nuisance to me with the Sunbeam. As to demerits -- although the machine has wheels and isn't especially heavy, it can be just as awkward to move as it is awkward to look at. And because it is powerful (i.e., hot), it can pose a danger to the unwary. For example, holding a shirt cuff at the end or by the vent while you steam it can lead to a serious burn. On the whole (and speaking just for myself), the lessening of drudgery afforded by this product outweighs the disadvantages discussed above.Read More
Steamer arrived quickly and was very easy to assemble. I had purchased it for drapes and although it worked well, it didn't reach high enough to be able to do the drapes while they were hanging. I guess that's not the steamer's fault, I should have realized. I ended up getting the old iron and ironing board out which actually worked faster and gave a crisper result. For clothing, it works as advertised.Read More
I have owned this product for three years and it is well worth its money. Once you start steaming your clothes you will never want to iron them again. Steaming makes your garments look better and last longer. The wheels are a little small so its hard to roll around but its a light product so its not hard to move from the closet to plug in. Sometimes if you are steaming the unit does need to re heat and will stop producing steam but its only for a few seconds then it starts working again. Definitely worth the money I use it all the time!Read More

Popular Types of Quilts
Out of all the bedding made, quilts may be the most diverse. Quilts are produced in all kinds of colors, patterns, sizes, styles and types. If you're looking for a quilt but don't know where to start, take a look at the popular types of quilts below to learn more about this beautiful kind of bedding. Amish quilts: These beautiful quilts reflect the Amish way of living and feature solid colors, deep hues, geometric patterns and very little embellishment. Amish quilts contain the highest quality of construction and stitching, and, sometimes, the wonderful stitch patterns (scrolls, feathers) contrast with the simple backgrounds of their quilts. Applique quilts: These quilts use a French needlework technique where fabric pieces are sewn onto another piece of material to create a design. Applique is used extensively in the quilting process and is not to be confused with patchwork. Patchwork pieces are joined together; applique is sewn on top of the whole piece. Baltimore album quilts: Baltimore album quilts came from Maryland in the early 1800s. Each block in the design of these quilts is appliqued differently, often in ornate floral patterns. Bangladeshi quilts: These quilts are made with layers of Saree cloth. Saree cloth is silk cloth used by women of India to wrap and fold around the body as a garment. The cloth is usually 40 to 60 inches wide by 6 yards long. These quilts are used as bedding or as decorative pieces. Bargello quilts: Bargello quilts are created with offset squares in an up-and-down geometric "V" pattern. The small squares of different fabrics and the colorful designs make these quilts true works of art. Hawaiian quilts: Hawaiian quilts are not pieced, and they usually showcase a large, symmetrical applique in the center of the quilt. Most often the background is white or another solid color. Patchwork quilts: Patchwork quilts are constructed of many small pieces of fabric which are put together in an improvised or irregular pattern. This is a well-known quilt style, and examples of historical patchwork quilts are found in many museums. Ralli quilts: Ralli quilts, sometimes known as rilli quilts, are traditional quilts made in India or Pakistan. There is an abundance of embroidery as well as applique on the patchwork patterns. Star quilts: Star quilts are created with a large star shape, or several star shapes, dominating the pattern. Wedding ring quilts: Wedding ring quilts are crafted in a design of interlocking rings. This pattern goes far back in history: in the fourth century it was used to decorate drinking cups in Rome. Wedding ring quilts are highly popular and make wonderful wedding gifts. If you're looking for a gift to please an engaged couple, you can't go wrong with a wedding quilt. Bedding always makes a significant gift for the bride and groom, and a quilt with coordinating Egyptian cotton sheets can be even better. View All Quilts Back to Guides Directory View All Quilts
