This toaster is compact and very attractive. I use it many times for bagels and love the wide slots and bagel control. If I had a large family, I might choose the larger size.

This toaster is not worth the money. Even on the lowest setting and from the first day we used it, the toast is very dark. I have had it almost 2 months, and now on the low setting the toast looks like it is almost burnt. You get what you pay for.

It is fine looking. I had to buy 6 of them for apartments and they will serve their purpose well, but I did try to heat up some pita bread and you can tell the sliding mechanism is pretty low quality. It did randomly burn the corners and puffy pieces of the pita bread, but that could have just been from the lack of form that type of bread keeps. If you just need one to look good and work occasionally I would recommend this. If it is for a hardworking household I would upgrade.

We needed a new toaster, and I wanted a black one to go with the appliances in the kitchen in our new house. This Sunbeam model still looks and works like new three years later. I just used it again this morning! No complaints.

I wanted a black toaster and this Sunbeam was nice looking. It has a variety of settings however I have run across two items that are aggravating for my purpose. I buy multigrain seeded bread which is slightly larger than regular bread. That being the case they are a bit too wide so i turn them sideways... now they are a bit too high when lowered to toast. Therefore about a quarter of the bread doesnt get toasted. The other thing i find i must do in order to get it to toast properly is to push down the lever without any bread in it to warm it up. ??? then i can put my bread in and know that it will toast to whatever setting you have made..

wanted a simple black toaster and this fit the bill. man, when did toasters become high tech expensive appliances?? whatever, I had no intention of buying an "upscale" toaster, so this was perfect. actually, it was better than I thought because it really toasts quickly (keep the setting rather low unless you like it extra crispy). I used the bagel button and it seemed to work fine at toasting both sides, but now I just use the regular toaster setting for my bagel. also, it does not pop up very far and is not very audible when it rings, but otherwise, I am quite pleased, especially given the low cost!!

Simple straight forward toaster. I would buy another if i need one. have had it for about 6 months and works great every time.

this product looks great in terms on its design. But sandwich toast cannot fit in it and when i first plugged it on, i was smelling like burned plastic. The smell only went away a couple of days later...i could not recommend it unless you use small toasts..

We've had this toaster for about a month and a half and use it everyday. So far we have no complaints, it is simple and works fine. Great value for the price. If you are looking for something that looks expensive and has different options you shouldn't buy this.

Happy with my toaster. It does it's job. Some NY extra thick bagels I have to squish a little to get it in, in spite of the "extra wide slots" but it still beats the heck out of my last toaster that would only fit brick oven think sliced bread (I tossed that one right quick after I got this one.) To becompletely honest, it's not quite as good as my plain old Procter Silex I had for 10 years before. Still wish I could find that toaster again. The only other point I would mention is that if I send another batch through the toaster right after one finishes, the second batch gets a lot darker than the first. Now that I know this, I can adjust the toast setting for a second batch to acocmodate this, but it would have been nice to know thaty ahead of time (burned my 2nd batch of toast).
