While the vacuum has very good suction and the size is right, the metal tubing for the hose attachment needs to be much longer. I am only 5'4" and I have to bend over to use the vacuum, causing back pain after a few minutes.

My home has a large area of bare floor and this vacuum seems to pick up the cat litter, cat hair and dust quite well. I wanted a bagged vacuum as the bagless are just icky to empty. I wanted power and this one seems to fit the bill - It has a suction control and I thought, "yeah, right, just set it on high and go...." Wrong. It is set to medium to avoid having the floor brush stick to the floor! It really has some suction! Yay!!! On the Nay side, the flippin cord is not long enough to do an entire room and the top swivel hose must be tugged upward to move the cannister along. If you pull sideways, the thing flips over and is quite annoying. Bags are almost impossible to find but I was able to order some direct from Sunbeam. On the whole, I really like it's cleaning power; I'm learning to pull UP when moving along and I use a 12' heavy duty extension cord.
