When I first plugged it in it made an annoying beeping sound just to let me know it was working. After about 2 weeks I had a spider crawl right by it. Then about a week later I had a centipede sitting on the wall only two feet away. I'm returning this piece of junk.

I use to have a spider problem and since we have used this product the spiders seam to have disapeared. I find this item to be durable.
