I've only used this chipper twice, as I received it only a few days ago. Kept getting reminders from overstock to write a review so here's what I noticed so far. It worked well to chop up hedge trimmings and a few sticks up to about 1/2 inch in diameter. I like that it really reduces a lot of garden waste that would otherwise take up a lot of room. The hopper where you feed material into the chipper is pretty small so it's a bit of a struggle to feed stuff in.Read More
I put this unit through its paces after it was delivered promptly. Pros: Simple, easy assembly. All you really have to do is attach the wheels and stand. Unit is relatively quiet considering the power of the electric motor As advertised, it will chip branches up to 1.5" Item is not that heavy and can be moved around without much difficulty Cons: Feed tube is not that big Does not work well on gnarled branches - this is really designed for straight tree limbs Be careful to not feed overly knotty wood into this machine as it can jam itRead More
My wife and I are overall happy with this purchase. Just a word of advice: Make sure when you receive this product that you inspect the inside. We did not, and when we first used this chipper it made a terrible racket and stopped. When we opened it there was something wrapped around the blade that could have caused serious injury. Inspect it completely before you use it.Read More
Best thing about this machine is the small footprint and pricetag. I have only used it once so far for a few hours but it neatly tackled a large pile of branches that have fallen from my trees. I am disappointed that it stopped up on branches that fit into the hopper but were apparently too meaty for the blades. Despite this, it is meeting my needs and reducing my backyard branches neatly and quickly plus only taking up a small spot in my garage. I am happy with this purchase.Read More

With a wood lathe in your collection of power tools, you'll be able to make a wide variety of items, including wooden pens, table legs, banisters and even wooden salad bowls.
