Sumptuous Cherry Bookcase

My husband and I were extremely pleased with this bookcase. We need a shorter bookcase to fit in my daughter's new room (giving her old room to a baby on the way) because we have a capecod style house. This bookcase looked beautiful and is very good quality. It is very safe for children too. (We've had bookcases where the shelves would slide right out.)

product was great. easy to put together. but arrived scratched and damaged. it took lots of touch up stain to even make it look decent. disappointed in the condition it was in. box didn't look damaged. looks like it left the factory in that shape.

The quality of the product received was less than desirable. There were several chips throughout the box of parts and one piece was actually broken. If it had arrived in tact, I still would have been disappointed in the finish but would have used them for a short time until I could find what I am looking for. The price matched the quality, yes, but the chips and breaks were more than I could work around.

I ordered two of these bookcases and I am really pleased with them. Another reviewer wrote how there was only brown in the stain and no cherry color, and that is an accurate description. They went together easily, the shelves are sufficiently deep to hold even very large books, and the units are nicely styled. My sister and I looked at hundreds of bookcases on line and decided on these. We are both delighted with the quality, appearance and workmanship.
