Beautiful piece! Colors are deep and there was much more to the picture than you can see online. Absolutely gorgeous! You won't be sorry if you order this!

A gorgeous, expensive-looking lamp that generates more light than you'd think. I've placed it in my bathroom (against an olive green painted wall) and it's simply stunning. My only complaint, and it's minor, is that the shade does not entirely cover the 75W light bulb and it extends about an inch and a half beyond the shade. I've been on the lookout for a smaller sized bulb that would fit the lamp better. (The bulb does not show in the photo on your website.) Other than that, the lamp is beautiful, very rustic, and I have received many compliments on its "artistic" style. It's a showpiece!

I bought this 8X10' for my dining room and it looks PERFECT under my table (which seats eight with the leaves in) with ample room fro the chairs on both sides not to 'fall off' (but a little tight with the arm chairs and the leaves on the ends). I have a formal dining room set with oak prairie style woodwork and grasscloth walls and it blends the two styles well. The cutting of the rug leaves three distinct texture areas to look at and is quite nice as it mirrors the table shape quite well. Most **** stores have the tan version on display (and sell under a different style name). The green is actually a light olive color. My walls are a ginger ale color and the furniture is mahogany. I always think that dining room colors should be similar in some way to food colors and this one fits right in!

I am a designer and just used this piece of art for a short term vacation rental I designed. It's simple and modern as well as whimsical. You'll love it!

I had been looking to purchase this piece for awhile, and happened to buy this particular print on a whim, without pouring over the description. This ended up being a great purchase, especially for the price! It came sturdily packaged and is framed with glass (well, as far as I can tell!), not plexiglass like the description states. It is a limited edition (950 count), hand-signed and numbered by the artist, and has a "certificate of authenticity" glued on the back (a printed out label). It's a giclee, so if you look close enough you can see the dot matrix from the inkjet printer. I'm not totally in love with giclee yet-- I think the process can potentially look like a cheap home print-- but you have to be inspecting this giclee awfully close to see the pixelation. The matting is not fabulous, with some minute overshot cuts at the corners. The colors are washed out on the Overstock picture; the cloud are never beige, but more olive. The entire background has green/seafoam components, rather than any neutral cream.

Well, this "Yellow Dragonfly" lamp MORE than makes up for my recent (disappointing) purchase of O.co's "White Jewel" lamp! The overall feeling here is of a "green" lamp, as the colors range from emerald to olive green to yellow-green. Most of the glass pieces are multicolored, streaked and/or mottled with related colors....a sign of real artistic skill :) The strong golden-yellow of the Dragonfly's bodies contrasts very well with the bright red of their "eyes." On my shade, the lower band contains beautiful lavender and mauve variegated glass. You wouldn't think that green, gold, and lavender would "work," but IT DOES! It gives this lamp a cool "woodsy" and restful feel. I LOVE IT and use it as a work lamp (hint: use two 60-watt Fluorescent equivalents and there is plenty of light for task work :) And finally...just to comment on the many Reviewers who believe their Tiffany-style lampshades are "made of plastic." I have worked as a glassblower for many years and am quite familiar with glass in its many forms. So...NO, these particular Tiffany-style lampshades are NOT plastic. They ARE glass. The reason these shades might "feel" and "sound" like plastic is that when glass is cut into small pieces and pieced together with seams between each piece, it will NOT "ring" like a wine glass or blown-glass vessel. But rest assured....these shades ARE indeed made of hand-cut Art GLASS :)
