I had been looking to replace my 30 year old bathroom light fixture....antigue brass was very popular in those days. I was unable to locate one anywhere in town for a resonable price. I usually go for the aged bronze, but this was for a small bathroom and I wanted to keep it light. But I hate flashy, brassy finishes and was a little worried if their definition of "antique" would meet my criteria. Need not have worried. It is a very mellow, classy finish that dresses up, but does not overwhelm my small space. The brown glazing in the picture is correct; when you get the box, don't panic because it only shows brown glazing around the lip of the shade. This makes it totally appropriate for a powder room - no glaring light. Thanks again, Overstock.com!

It's so hard to find antique brass any more and this light and the shades were exactly what I was looking for. Had to return it because it wouldn't fit in the space where we wanted to put it. I was very disappointed to have to send it back. It was much prettier than the picture.

Gorgeous QUALITY Lighting with old world charm for much less than even a local "going out of business" lighting sale. Nothing even remotely compared price-wise, quality, or appearance. Beautiful Bathroom Lighting Accessory. We use the full spectrum light bulbs for natural lighting. Very happy with this product, easy to install, sooooo much easier to replace lightbulbs if needed, in this than our old style. Bottom line - unable to go wrong, it's a great deal! Overstock provides great quality products at affordable prices, delivery is fast, and service is superb (the best we've actually ever encountered). I have been looking for an appropriate fixture for our powder room for sometime, so I have thoroughly checked out many fixtures, in both retail stores and online.I was pleased when I found that the dimensions of this vanity light would fit in the space in our small powder room. The brass metal fixture is an excellent match for the hardware already being used for towel racks, and the glass globes are more attractive than pictured in the description. They have a lovely shaded, antiqued color cast, which softens the light when bulbs are installed.We are very pleased with the lovely muted cast reflected by the globes, and the price is better than I was able to find anywhere else for the quality - an excellent choice!

This vanity light is exactly what I wanted. It is soft because of the oval and rounded shapes and the glass shades are much more beautiful than the picture shows. Warm brown/bronze colors. Thank you.

I bought two of these to go with my new double vanity and was more than pleasantly surprised when we opened them. The picture does not do justice to the color of the glass. It has a touch of brown that makes the light soft, but does not lessen the intensity. They look much richer than they appear in the photo and I would recommend them without hesitation.

This light fixture is beautiful. The brass finish is dull, which is what I was looking for, and the tint of the glass shades gives it an "old world" charm. There was no assembly required except for screwing on the shades and adding bulbs. The price was about half of what I had seen similar fixtures for in home improvement stores and this fixture is more attractive. The picture definitely does not do this fixture justice.
