  • Love It, But ...

    I love this sink.It's exactly what I wanted in our guest bathroom. But, to my dismay, when our contractor put it in, he had a leak at the bottom of the sinks. After closer examination, he found a manufacturer's defect that is about a four of an inch long or less and just a pinch wide. It's just enough for water to get through. I had noticed this when it was unpacked but I thought that was the way it was supposed to be. So, our contractor tried to fix it and the first attempt failed. He has not used silicone and some other tricks to try to keep it from leaking. We will know in the morning if it worked. If it doesn't, I don't know what we will do. I don't want to send it back because I have no way of packing it. I just want this one to work. I love it, but I was disappointed when the defect was discovered, and it wil make me really hesitate next time I try to buy something like this online.

    • How did the color on site compare with the actual product? Color is perfect.
    • Please tell us about the quality of the product. Everything is great -- except there is a defect in the bottom of one of the sinks where it's attached to the pipe. The defect is about a fourth inch long or less and just a pinch wide. Our contractor is trying for the second time to keep it from leaking. If it is still leaking in the morning after the silicon dries, I don't know what we will do.
    • How accurate was the on site description of the product? Perfect.

Take away the old vanity cabinet. Locked the water supply and separate the drain lines. You may need to use a crowbar to separate the cabinet from the wall, so be cautious not to harm the sheetrock. If you plan to reprocess the bath sink and top, remove them from the cabinet and stock them securely. 2. Get ready the area for bathroom cabinet. Use a stud finder to locate the studs in the area behind where the vanity cabinet will be installing. Mark up the location of each stud with a trace. 3. Set up the vanity cabinet. Fit your new bath vanity in the space, and use the level to regulate if the part is level from front to back and side to side. Use shims to set up sides that sit minor than others, and trim them with a helpfulness knife to be flush with the front of the vanity cabinet. You may also need to tint the shims to match the bath cabinet. 4. Locked the cabinet. Drill screws through the top rail together with the back of the cabinet to attach it strongly to the wall studs. This will prevent the vanity from shocking or sloping. 5. Add it the countertop on the vanity cabinet and screw the countertop to the cabinet on the underside of the counter. Add the sink in the sink space, and seal around the edges to grip it in place. The bath sink may as well have sink locks that need to be attached on the underside.6. Set up the plumbing. Rejoin the water supply and drain lines, and turn on the water source. Look up sensibly for drips or leaks that may necessity to be sealed overstockcustomercare1 on Jan 14, 2013

what's the total weight? my bathroom is on the 2nd floor and my stair's width is just 32 inches. I understand that the top is not connected yet to the cabinet, is this true? thanks, erniedizon on Mar 25, 2013
