This desk looks nice at first and everything about it has held up over the last 2 years except the paint. In the first year, the paint cracked all along the perimeter of the desk top. There is just a thin crack/line in the paint all around the top edge of the desk. Bummer. It doesn't look horrible (can't tell from a distance), and I still like the desk in general so maybe I will get a piece of tempered glass to top it now. Otherwise it is sturdy and a good match for the West Elm desk, though not very glossy like others have mentioned.

This is an awesome desk. The lines are clean. The glossy white finish is perfect (not super glossy but semi-glossy nonetheless). It took me 15 minutes to put it together. Looks awesome. Don't see much of a difference with the similar piece of West Elm for a fraction of the price. Arrived in perfect condition. Delivery was fast and inexpensive ($ 2.50). Local furniture stores ask for $20 to $50 delivery fees for a piece of furniture the same size.

I use the table at work talking with clients. The drawers are not deep, but suit my purpose: room for charts, pens, pads of paper, etc. The dented leg is on my side of the table, but it's too difficult to repackage and send back. Very sturdy and level. And easier to put together than a chair I purchases. Table took about 15 minutes. Inlcuding the unpackaging.

I love the modern, sleek look of this desk and was pleased when it came out of the box looking pristine. HOWEVER, the finish on the top of the desk scratched VERY EASILY (I can't even pin-point the cause: but it certainly wasn't anything sharp!). I am really disappointed with the durability of the finish, as I think it detracts from the modern aesthetic. I still am very happy with the rest of the desk, but I'd warn others (especially if you're planning to have real students use this desk, or otherwise subject it to any form of "punishment" beyond a soft paperback book) to be mindful of the finish's quality.

I really wanted a Parsons desk. This is the best one for the price that I found online. I still wouldn't pay for a West Elm Parsons. The white is bright and the drawers are great. They won't store many things. Mainly paper and pens. It is a bit wobbly but putting it up against a wall reduces this. I'd love to get a glass top to prevent any more scratches (after only a month) but this desk will work for me for the next few years just fine and at the price it cannot be beat.

I bought this as the affordable option to the West Elm Parson's desk. I had read in reviews that the finish wasn't as glossy as some would like, but I found it to be white, glossy, and totally fine. I had bought glossy spray paint to go over the desk before assembling, but I shelved the glossy coat and decided to live with the desk as-in for a bit. As my roommate put it, it's a fine line between glossy and kid-furniture glossy. I think the finish is glossy enough to look polished and haven't thought it needed a fix in the three weeks it's been up. As a desk, the product is great. It's sturdy, has been used for a couple of weeks without any marks, and looks great. I would highly recommend this desk to anyone!

Great Parsons -style desk for the price. A little thinner than West Elm Parsons desk. Has two drawers which slide effortlessly. The finish is shiney and smooth- not quiet as lacquered as West Elms- For the price, I am pleased! The construction is a snap- attach the legs with the bolts and tool provided. One thing, using the tool on the side with the drawer was trickey because there was not alot of room to manuver and I had to turn the tool sideways... which slowed the whole process down a llittle bit. Overall it took 20 mins to put it together.

Great budget alternative to the pricey West Elm Parsons Desk, if you are looking for a stylish, sturdy workstation this is great. The Legs don't wobble, I didn't find any defects while putting it together (easy instructions) the surface is big enough for two monitors, and it's compact which is great for my small house. The drawers feel a little flimsy, but hey this desk was only $$$!

I searched for a desk for several months. I wanted something with clean lines that would look great in my space. I considered the West Elm Parsons Desk but was not happy with the $350 price tag. I searched and found this desk (47.25 inches long x 23.625 inches deep x 29.5 inches high) which has nearly the same dimensions as the West Elm Desk (48" long x 24"deep x 30"high). It arrived packaged very well and was easy to assemble. The drawers were already attached onto the desk. Assembly simply involved attaching the legs. I really like this desk. It is large enough for my laptop and a few decor items without being overly large. The only drawback is that the 2 drawers are not very spacious. They are just big enough for pencils, pens and stationary but not at all adequate for anything larger or for any type of storage. Overall this desk has clean lines and looks very good.

II purchased this item for my daughter's room for art and drawing. It is very easy to assemble and is sturdy. There's plenty of workspace as well room to leave out art supplies. Surprisingly, the small narrow drawers work very well for her. And the desk is "minimalistic" enough to place in front of a window and not block the natural light.

I had looked for a drawing desk all over the internet and in stores, and could not find anything that would fit my needs. I came across this desk and instantly knew it was the one. I was happy to find out that it was not as shiny as it looked on the photo on line, but I guess it was the angle they shot it from. Also, I am using it as a drawing desk - I use paints - so I put clear plexi on top to prevent from damaging it. Love the two drawers, where I can put pencils and other drawing materials... in two words: very happy!
