Stretch Twill Loveseat Slipcover

I have purchased several slip covers in the past, most just looked like well...a loveseat with a sloppy cover. This slip cover fits like a glove, actually hard to tell its a slip cover at first glance. The color (red) actually matches an accent color in my other chairs so it blends perfectly and was well represented on the site. The quality is quite good, I have washed it once already with no problems. All in all a very good buy.

I bought this and was very disappointed to find that the fabric is NOT twill and there is a fine brown/cream stripe. The color/design was not at all as depicted in the picture (even the color close ups were inaccurate - they look solid but it is not so in real life). I even wondered if the manufacturer had made an error and put the wrong product in the wrong packaging until I saw someone else had commented with the exact same problems that I had. I wish I had seen that person's comments before I purchased. Then the final kick in the teeth is that I have to pay almost $$$ to return it!! No savings for me this time around from Overstock. :( - Feelin' kinda gypped..

This is the first time I"ve purchased Sofa Covers. We have a poor range in New Zealand, so to purchase through Overstock.com was fantastic! I wanted to cover some old red couches, but with three boys in the house, did not want to invest in new ones as yet! When the covers arrived, the colour did not look like the box, or what I'd seen online. However, once fitted, they looked great. They were easy to fit - didn't need to watch DVD - very self-explanatory. The bottoms are still a little wrinkly. They only require a little tucking after my husband's slept on them!! Otherwise, with two young kids in the house, I'm surprised at the Covers sturdiness. My only complaint is that the fabric is starting to pile already - and they've only been on for two weeks. But overall, this is a great short-term, economical solution I will probably purchase another set, so I can chop and change them.

First, this is NOT a twill fabric. It's more of a jersey knit. There is no way this will hold up to any kind of real use. The seams will pull apart in no time. Second the fabric is actually very small stripes. It's not a solid. It's a dark brown and cream stripe. A very small stripe, but still a stripe nonetheless. This is going back tomorrow.
