I am so pleased with this slipcover, it gave us a totally new looking piece of furniture! We had an overstuffed chair with rips and stains and threadbare patches. We have young children, so we hesitated to throw it out and replace it with something new (it would be ruined in a matter of months.) As a last resort before tossing the chair, I ordered the slipcover and didn't expect much. We have different slipcovers for our sofa and love seat and have not been very pleased with their fit/look/feel. The chair slipcover is AMAZING! It stretches and shapes to fit, and feels wonderful. It stays in place, even with small children climbing all over it. Honestly, the chair doesn't look at all like it has a slipcover on it. And it feels wonderful! It's an inexpensive way to improve the look of your room or change decor without spending a fortune for new furniture. I wish I could find the same slipcover for the sofas. Another huge plus (especially for those of us with small children) if it gets dirty or stained, remove it and toss it in the washing machine!

I like this product, but I had to return it. It was about 2x bigger than I needed. Although I'm handy with a sewing machine, I didn't think it was worth messing with. For the price, I'll just put it towards reupholstering.

I really needed to cover up an old loved chair. The slip cover was just what I needed. I chose the 2 piece so that I could get a better fit, since this chair is an old style and a little smaller than modern chairs. I did pin it under the bottom of the chair, but the stretch and clinginess of the fabric really holds it in place.

• How did the color on site compare with the actual product? The color on site looked a little darker but i had looked at a similar product at a store and knew what to expect.
• Please tell us about the quality of the product. The quality of this slip cover is excellent. Although my old chair was a little small, the cover could be tucked and it clings to the chair appropriately. I did pin the cover under the chair to pull it in snugger.

As many others have said, this cover worked perfectly on our oversize chair (a full foot wider than the maximum length listed). It is definitely the best fitting slip cover I have ever used and so far seems to hold its shape really well after repeated sittings. The only downside is the red cover is much more on the maroon side than the image reflects...

Just bought this and put it on my favorite old (ugly plaid) chair today and it seriously looks like I have a new chair. I have given it 4 stars only because I have not had the opportunity to sit in the chair and see how well the cover stays in place, but it looks fantastic. The material feels like it's good quality, and it was easy to put the cover on. Having a two-piece slipcover is key - it doesn't even really lok like a slipcover. The material is some kind of magical new thing, so it stretches easily but stays taut and smooth once it's on.

I would have returned this slipcover, however, the cost to do so is prohibitive. My club chair looks as if it is shrouded in melted ice cream!!!

I've had no luck with slipcovers in the past, but this one really delivers. Yes, it's still a slipcover, but after some pulling and tugging, I think it looks fantastic. I had a chair and a half that I had a hard time finding a cover for, and with this being so stretchy I was able to manipulate it to fit my chair. It is a 2-piece cover (which is great) and the seat cover was the trickiest for me as it required a lot of stretch, but it fit! I flipped the chair, pulled the access underneath and used a staple gun for a more secure fit. Also cut small holes as the chair legs are removable, so the cover goes underneath my chair's legs. Overall I'm very satisfied with the look and price of this product. I shop quite a bit at Overstock and they once again came through with a great product. This chair was going to get thrown out (it's really ugly underneath!) and now it's going to make a nice addition to our new baby's nursery. http:****

This slipcover was a nice surprise--I really didn't expect it to fit so well! The stretchiness makes the cover seem custom-made. The fabric is really lovely and my friends who have seen it, think I had the chair recovered professionally. I really am happy with the cover and the color.

overall....good. Keep in mind that this is a slipcover and don't expect it to look like a newly upolstered chair (or quite like the picture) - it is a slipcover; it is better than what you wanted to cover and a pleasant band-aid for an old favorite...

This cover totally changed the look of our chair. It doesnt come untucked every time you sit on it. I only retuck about once a week and thats only because I have kids. Its easy to put on and looks great.

I was wary about getting slipcovers for my furniture because so many people warend me they never fit right or look good. Well, I am so happy I purchased these! They fit great on my furniture with a little tucking on the bottom. They are very soft and they look great! I had a small party the day I put these on and everyone commented on my pretty new furniture. An inexepensive way to make old furniture look new again! My only complaint would be that I could not see the color on overstock.com before I purchased so I was taking a chance. The oatmeal is a light tan/greyish color for those interested. Would definitely recommend.

ordered 1/23 and it arrived 1/28. this is a very large chair cover----my chair is on the very bottom of the parametrs for a good fit----BUT, with the stretch material and separate seat cushion i just turned the chair over and pulled in all the extra material and clipped it together with those black office clips!! the clips are under the chair and do not show. worked very well and easy and my older dingy chair now looks great. as this was a well built and expensive and comfortable chair it was well worth buying a cover----i would not hesitate to do so again. and as always, Overstock does such a great job with their descriptions and prices. i wrote about the office clips because i always appreciate hints i get on the review area----so don't hesitate to buy :)

I have a chair that is oversized- maybe could be considered a "chair and a half". It's 43" wide, so it's technically bigger than what Overstock recommends for sizing in their guide. However, this slipcover fit amazingly well, and it was the easiest thing ever to put on. Even better, it stays put where you tuck it way better than a regular slipcover. It really looks like my chair is reupholstered vs. slipcovered. I am so very happy with this, now my chair matches my couch and it's washable too. I highly recommend this, especially if you have a big chair, it is likely this will fit. I am thinking of buying another just to have a backup, I like it that much.

Purchased this slipcover for an oversized chair in our living room in the Oatmeal color. It is WONDERFUL and has given new life to our old chair. The color is a nice grey/beige neutral color and it looks fabulous! It was a snap to put on the chair and it has not pulled off and I have not had to reposition the slipcover once (in 2 weeks and we have 3 kids). I would recommend this to anyone!

I got two chair covers in chocolate to cover old floral chairs, and they look great. My kids love sitting in the chairs now because the fabric is so soft. They stay in place well - on occasion I adjust a bit on the cushion front, but really they look great.

This is a great slipcover, but it's a tad big for my chair, which is within the specified range. I think it's because my chair's arms are skinny, so the slipcover had to be tucked in all over the chair. Overall the fabric is very nice, and I think it will prove durable. Good buy, especially for larger chairs.

This slipcover was exactly what my tired, stained chair needed. It fits perfectly thanks to the stretch fabric. I covered my chair several weeks ago (a very easy process), and even with frequent use, the slipcover is holding tight with no need for adjustments. The suede-like fabric is rich looking, and the neutral color (oatmeal) works well with my decor as I'm sure it would with most. Highly recommend this slipcover.

I looked all over the internet to find a good quality, well made cover for a very old 1940s era chair. It's an odd barrel shape with fluted sides so I needed something that would stretch and conform to it's rounded shape. This slip cover fit the bill to a T. It's larger than I expected so some extra tucking was needed but overall it's a good fit. For the price, it's a good buy and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone.
