poor stitching
 from Texas,  Jan 29, 2010

I think the material and look of this slip cover is wonderful however was ripped at the seam when I took it out of the package. If you are a seamstress or have a good sewing machine and don't mind restitching all of the seams, then this product would work for you. It fits well, and is beautiful and is so soft to the touch, but whoever sewed these did some kind of chain stitch and once one of those pops, they all go. Was disappointed and had to return the item.

Relieved and Amazed
from Hudson, New York,  Jan 3, 2010

I worried about how this slip cover would look. It was a gift for my sister to cover an overstuffed, contemporary chair from Workbench. Since it was an oversized chair, but with a relatively similar shape, it was a risk as a gift. However, it fits beautifully and she loves it. People think she had the chair re-upholstered. I used a few fabric tacks in a few places, but this really looks amazing, like a brand new chair. My sister LOVES her chair. Had the chair (looks like a small love seat) actually been just a little larger, it would have been a perfect fit, but as is, I just can't believe this is a slip cover. The stretch fabric, suede-like feel, and elastic bottoms worked perfectly. It stays in place very well, and about once a week we tug it a bit back into place, and it only takes about a minute. Tight, beautiful fit. Highly recommended! I can only imagine how beautifully the fit would have been had the chair/loveseat been about 60 inches wide. Her chair measured 54' wide.

Good Comments
 Oct 5, 2009

These covers were pretty darn hard to put on our couches, but with two people, we eventually got it done. Once you get past the sweat and tears getting them on, they really do look great. It sounds pretty cheesy, but everyone who's come over has told me they thought I bought new couches. No one could tell they were covers. So that was nice. I definitely like the two-piece version-- much less couch-covery. And the stretchy material also helps a lot with that. So yes! I would recommend these.

Disappointed
from North Texas,  Sep 10, 2009

I was so excited when my slipcovers arrived! But once I go them on my sofa and loveseat the seams at the arms started to come undone. HOLES! Very poor quality on this product. But before they fell apart they looked very nice. Wish it would have worked out.

I've had regular slipcovers once before and they were horrible! I had to constantly re-adjust and re-tuck. These slipcovers, however, are wonderful. I haven't had to re-tuck at all. They look great! Highly recommend!

stretch slipcover
 from Cokato,Mn,  Jul 15, 2009

I was worried about the slipcover being too small or too large. My love seat is older and I was concerned a new slipcover would not fit. So I was very pleased when it fit just right. It was very easy to put on. It fits snugly enough to not look so much like a slipcover but as if the love seat was reupholstered. The material is comfortable to sit on and not a lot of sliding around. I would recommend this for anyone especially in these times when buying new may not be practical.

great product

This cover is wonderful. Very durable fabric and fits great because of the stretch and elastic around the bottom. Stands up to my cats!

A perfect fit!
from Northern Arizona,  Jul 1, 2009

I was so hesitant to order sofa and loveseat slipcovers online, but these two items turned out to be real gems. The color is perfect, very true to what you see online - a raisin/baking cocoa mix. The fit is really perfect (and I have slim line, small sofas), and best of all the fabric stays in place! No wrinkly, left out in the rain look here, these slipcovers have transformed my living room!

SO. SO.
 from TN,  Jun 24, 2009

I have never like furniture covers of any kind. However, I am on a budget and cannot afford a new loveseat, which has stood the test of time with 3 generations of nieces and nephews and their friends, and now my own 6 y/o. So, I decided I would get slipcovers and was pleasingly surprised to know there were strech slipcovers. Overall, I like this slipcover. The color is great, it was easy to put together. Unfortunately, the cushion cover is too big. On the bright side, when it is all put together and tucked just right, even when you sit on it and get up, the cushion cover stays smooth and in place. I gave it an overall rating of 3 stars because the cushion cover is too big. In light of the number of people who use furniture covers, the price is too pricey and should be more reasonable since the demand is extremely high.

Slipcover
from New Orleans, LA,  Jun 20, 2009

Looks good, but because it is faux suede, it shows any kind of spill or mark very easily. It is washable, but it is too much of a pain to take off and clean on a regular basis. Good for a sofa that doesn't get much use.

Great!
from New York, NY,  Apr 3, 2009

I had an old slipcover on my loveseat that looked great but no matter what I did, or how I tucked, after a few days it always looked like a sloppy mess. I was so happy to find a slipcover that took care of that... 2 pieces! I must advise that the slipcover part for the cushions is a PAIN to put on (you have to wrestle them in), but once I got over that part, the rest was easy. I looks great! You almost can't tell that it is a slipcover!

Great value and product
 from Texas,  Mar 27, 2009

I gave my 15 year old sleeper sofa/ loveseat set to my son when he got a job and moved out of the house. I bought the slip covers for him to match his place. Very easy to put on and looks great. The sofa is a sleeper sofa, so it does not hold on to the tucking very tightly. I bought a bunch of safety pins to hold the fabric down to prevent bunching. It works great like that. I also price this all over the internet and locally, and Overstock does have the lowest price.
