In general, I really don't like slipcover type things as I think they are really tacky. At this time I really did not feel like purchasing 6 new dining chairs so tried these out. It's clear they are slipcovers but thankfully they do not look too tacky. The color is a good neutral color that fits in perfectly with my carpet and furniture.

We refinished our basement into a "Rat Pack" era cocktail lounge and it was purchase all new chairs to go with the small cocktail tables we had, or, cover them. When I saw these I was hopeful that they'd work with the various style charges I had and they do! I was a little concerned that stretchable fabric would look a bit cheap but they do not. Need to make a few adjustments to some, but they look terrific and resulted in the theme I was looking for. Absolutely would recommend them.
It wasn't the texture I was hoping for, but I suppose I hadn't paid much attention to the description. To me, It has a velvet-like texture.The fit is amazing and must have taken me literally 5 seconds to put on. It even took shape to the padded contours of my chair...it fits like a glove.
