Good product for the money
This dining set is a good value. Obviously not the highest quality wood, but the finishing was nice and the overall quality was good. I had a problem with one of the chair legs and Overstock resolved it by sending me a replacement piece that I received in a couple days. Installation of the table was a breeze, but the chairs were a little time-consuming. Overall, I would recommend this set, especially given its low price. The set looks just like the pictures as well.

I really liked this. However the seat screws that connect it to the back of the chair loose their threads easily and I was not able to tighten them all the way down. Now since the head of the screws are threaded I can not remove and replace them. Aside from that I love the table and couldn't be happier!

Exactly what I paid for
Now that this dining set is put together and sitting in my kitchen, I love it. The two nights it took me to put together? Not so much. I actually have worked as an architectural draftsperson, and I still had a little trouble with the instructions. I'm also a reasonably strong person, but I got tired the first night putting this together. Also, keep in mind that this will be delivered to your home in a 98 lb box. I was able to get it into the house by opening the box outside and bringing the pieces in individually. That said, once assembled, this table made a nice addition to my eat-in kitchen. The table is a little small. It would be a tight fit for four adults, but is perfect for a couple and the occasional guests. All in all, it was worth what I paid for it.

table & chair set
I bought this and paid someone to put it together for me. It looks nice,e xcept for the screw holes. There are 32 of them and there are none with the set. I asked Overstock about them covers and they said... none there and no credit. The set will not look like the picture until you go out and try to find 9/16" screw covers...... lots of luck with that.

Surprised at how pleased I am
I was a bit overwhelmed when I first saw the box. But it shipped earlier than I expected, Was packaged very nicely and securely, went together with ease, just follow the instructions. No Problems and the price was perfect.

Good table
2 of the pieces for the chairs came painted backwards with the screw holes backwards too so it looks kinda weird...2 of the chairs are correct, 2 of them are wrong...it doesn't change how well the chair holds up, but it is rather unsightly.
- How did the color on site compare with the actual product? It is definitely a white table. The cushions for the chairs are darker than in the picture, I was actually happier with the color I got than the one in the picture, but if you want light tan cushions then this is not for you.
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. Its good for what you paid for it. I want to get covers for the screws.

Nice table for the money. Pretty easy to assemble with one person. Only complaint is one leg for one of the chairs is about 1.5 in too short. Still works but the chair tips back and forth. Still need to call to try to get new leg so can't say for sure if they will replace yet.

I am very pleased with this purchase. It is a smaller table but I am able to seat 4 people comfortably at the table and still have plenty of table space. I was concerned about the negative reviews regarding all the screws that are exposed but it doesn't bother me at all. I was all prepared to purchase covers for them but I won't do so now.

Beautiful
We purchased the white set. It is very slick and modern looking. The brown seat cushions were an odd sort, but we'll be reupholstering it soon. It fits perfectly in our small kitchen dining area, and is devoid of the cluttered look many other sets had. The total time of assembling was about 1 hour per chair, and 30 min. for the table. The assembly, outside of being lengthy, was unremarkable. All screws, nails and accompanied tools were properly used, and not a one piece was left over. It's a lovely dinette, and cleans nicely. Only time will tell its value in longevity.
