Exceeded our expectations
We posted this on a post with a baffle by the pond this year. So far we have had 2 sets of wood ducks babies. I would say the wood ducks give this box a 5 star.

Small Entrance..
I placed 16 of these boxes and I watched wood ducks strugling to get inside. The opening should be bigger. Having 2 piece thick entrance also not helping. It is too thick and wood ducks web feet is not wide enough to have a good grip on it. The pull-out nail used to keep the side door closed should have been aluminum or brass. It is rusting and it is difficult to open. Should have included one screw to anchor to tree.
