I bought two of these closet systems to make a walk in closet with. I was very happy with the look and quality of the wood. The product came with multiple pieces of hardware so I had the option of how and where I wanted to build my closet on the wall I have. I don't have a typical 8 or 10 foot walk in closet. I have a slopping ceiling so I needed the option of placing the closet rods and shelves where I needed them.

Shoes get smashed. I wear size 5 1/2 & my ankle boots & heels are smashed. To make them not smash, I would have to remove the shelf but that would defeat the purpose of this style of cabinet. During assembly screws broke in half, which makes me wonder if the cabinet will hold up. They give you extra hardware to accommodate for the cheap material. This only means they know they are sending you horrible quality materials. Assembly "instructions" were awful. Pieces were neither labeled nor identified clearly on the instructions. The instructions had 2 steps. Apparently they thought the 20 secondary steps didn't need to be detailed. There's no spot to press on the glass so you don't smear it. I thought it would have some specific place to pull the drawer out without smudging the glass. Nope. Wood material looks nice. There are a few spots that came a little scuffed but apparently that's what we are supposed to expect these days for "inexpensive" products like this. Wish it werewere deeper so my larger shoes could fit. Wish it were wider because this only fits about 3 pair across. Wish it were a little taller so the shelves wouldn't smash my dress shoes.

Great product. The shelves can be set and even adjusted, (with a little effort). wheels don't scuff the wood floor. Can handle some weight. I had over 400 lbs on those.

The John Louis shelving was nice wood. It added a richness to our closet space. The towers really adds to storage space too! I especially like the customization of the product. The manufacturer had instructions but we recommend watching the utube videos first. Measure at least twice if not 3 times before cutting or drilling. Use good tools. Don't rush.

This product is one more thing that I will be thankful for this Thanksgiving and I will be showing everyone who visits this Christmas! Forget replacing your wire shelves with nicer looking wood shelves and save yourself time and money while doing so! Used the product in both my kitchen pantry and bedroom linen closet - looks and works great. They will give costly closet designers a run for their money as soon as they come up with a partial front cover so you can still hang clothes. Guessing the cost could come down just a bit if they didn't include both a tape measure and hack saw (although I guess most of their customers are really looking for a one stop solution). Keep up the good work! Steve

It's good quality made of REAL WOOD after all. If you seen the bad review claims that it fell from wall, he didn't mention if it's the shelves themselves broken (means poor quality), or the shelves falling away from the wall as a whole (means poor installation, nothing to blame the product). I guess that's the latter. To make a proper installation, ALL SCREWS MUST BE IN STUDS. NO ANCHOR SHALL BE USED. Use your brain to solve the problem when the location is not just right. Buy extra painted/stained wood stick or wood panel to reinforce if necessary. Drill holes on the shelf and install long screws where studs exists. These can make sure that they stick to the wall forever until the shelves themselves broke into pieces.

I purchased two of these for a walk in closet primarily because they were constructed of real wood, albeit a soft species of wood and because it had a very professional appearance. The cost of two of these came in about $*** cheaper than a local closet organizer company had quoted for about the same setup but using melamine boards/panels/drawers, albeit I had to install these myself. The installation did take several hours, but it was by no means "difficult", assuming you take your time and follow the instructions and apply a bit of common sense to the process. The instruction manual also included a few pages of layout options depending on the size of the space, 6ft, 8ft, 10ft. I ended up doing a variation of one of the layouts, so I had to deviate from the exact instructions just slightly. I would personally recommend ensuring your install location is able to tie into wall studs to securely fasten this to the wall, which is recommended in the instructions, but they do provide special drywall anchors in the event your between studs. The tower/drawer system is also quite sturdy and the drawer bottoms are felt lined bottoms, just to add that extra touch of class to the product. My only gripe about the product is that they did use a pretty soft wood species and if your too aggressive with the pieces during the install you do risk scratching it, but they do include a touch up marker in the event that occurs. We'll see how this lasts over several months/years, but so far I'm impressed and feel it was well worth the money and has earned its 5 star rating at this point.

Great shoe cabinet but very hard to put together...so many small pieces. I did get some help and even he ( a carpenter by trade) laughed and stated that it may take him two days. He did get it together in a few hours and I love it! So ladies...make sure you have a guy around that know his way around wood products.
