This compost pail is attractive enough to leave on your counter, very convenient and nice size. I have had no problem with smell or flies. I empty it out about once a week. Love it!
The top of the jars are not large enough to get a hand or scooper in to get sugar or flour. Not user friendly. I would not recommend this item.
For the price, I am happy. It is what I needed, an unbreakable, sealable method to transport deviled eggs to events and for home use. It also is easily stackable in the refrigerator or cooler.
It looks great. Works well (except for the fact the top doesn't fit snuggly to the bottom) and it serves the purpose for which it is made.
When the canisters arrived they were perfect. The glass portion was great and the toppers were beautiful. The problem I ecountered occured after I put the tops onto the glass cannister portion. The seal was too tight. When I tried to remove the top the pointed portion cracked off. I was really disappointed. I did not even try to take off the rest of the tops because they appeared tto be as tight as the first one I had tried.
