These arrived with one tab broken off before even taken out of the sealed package. Very shallow design not high enough for fancy deviled eggs. Very flimsy and stiff plastic tabs that don't inspire confidence. TOO BAD> Not worth sending back.. Might make a good seed starter or painters pallet.

Do the job, very flimsy quality plastic but not something I use all the time so they work and do the job

Plastic seal on the can tops makes them airtight and perfect for storing coffee and tea. Cute look too, with the chalkboard paint!

I think this is a very good product. I am trying to limit my use of plastic containers. I would have liked the covering to be more secure. Overall, I think this is a good product.

Lids are cheap, crack easily , tabs break off making lids useless. You can use the bottoms, but cover with plastic wrap instead, but without lids you can't really stack them.

I replaced my plastic compost basket with this one because I wanted a nicer looking one. My only complaint is that I have to lift the top to put food scraps in. A well designed hinged top that stays open while you are putting food scraps in would be perfect. But, I am pretty happy with this product.

Inexpensive plastic, which is fine, but the overall quality could be better. There are plastic "locking" tabs on the sides and on one set 2 of 4 were already broken off. You can tape the lid on or secure with a very large rubber band. The "handle" on the lid isn't well thought out as you can't actually get a grip on it. Overall they did the job and it's better than having your eggs slide around and get messed up before you serve them. Can put a small amount of crushed ice in lid and set the tray on top to serve and keep eggs chilled.

Apples represent the decor in my kitchen and this cannister set was the final touch! I purchased them for the decorative aspect rather than storage. If I do decide to store anything in them I will put the contents into ziplock plastic bags first since there is no seal on the tops. I am pleased with my Apple Cannister set. I found the best price at Overstock.

I love this little compost pail. Before it was a plastic bag and twice a day trip to my compost bin. Now I can add to the pot for 2 to 3 days before emptying. The lid fits perfectly, no smell and easy to clean after emptying. Except for the pricey carbon refills, this is a perfect product for your kitchen compost material.

Very attractive cannister set that is just what I was looking for to brighten up a drab corner of the kitchen. The cannisters are standard sizes, large for flour, next for sugar, next for coffee and last for ?? The lids have a plastic seal to buffer them from clanking two ceramic pieces together and to seal them more tightly. Very happy with this purchase.

I was shopping for canisters for sugar and flour and ordered these since I liked the design and thought I would add a new color to the kitchen. These canisters are DECORATIVE not for use of storing food of any kind unless in a plastic bag. They are thin and the inside have flaking paint, not meant for counter top use. Very disappointed and so had to go on a new search for sealable canisters that are meant to hold dry goods. Would not have purchased if I had known this! Outside style is very cute, but they are not worth the cost.

I was looking forward to receiving these and replacing some old canisters. My husband was there when I opened the box and even he commented on how cheaply made the items were. These are just glass jars wrapped in a thin sheet of stainless steel. The stainless steel does not wrap around the bottom so you see the glass underneath. This does result in sharp edges from the stainless steel along the bottom. Not good for a family with children who might be handling these. The thing that most disappointed me however were the lids which looked to be made out of very cheap plastic and again capped with a thin layer of stainless steel. It doesn't appear very airtight and I doubt the plastic would last long with repeated use. There were also some dents on the stainless steel near the glass windows where the food would show through. These must have happened before the items were packed since they were packed well and the box itself was not dented. So unfortunately these did not meet our expectations.

I am very satisfied with these cannisters. They look great in my red and taupe kitchen. The two largest work well for flour and sugar and the top opening is large enough for easy scooping. The third largest, I use for cookies or crackers and the smallest is perfect for tea bags or artificial sweetener packets. The seals may not be totally airtight, but since I always line my cannisters with a large plastic bag and seal with twist ties, this isn't a problem. This is a unique set, so if you are looking for something different and not found in a typical store, I'd highly recommend these cannisters.
