As others have written, this is a beautiful set when finished. When all is said and done, I really like it. However, the chairs are very, very difficult to assemble. My husband, who is a skilled craftsman, took several days to get them all done. I felt so bad!! He had to drill and tap several holes for the assembly screws -- this is not simple to do. What's more, you'd think that all of the chairs would have the same problem, and therefore require the same specialty tools to fix them, but no. The unassembled chairs come in boxes of two. Each box had chairs with a different problem! So the tools that worked on the first box, didn't on the second or third. It was not only a problem, it was a different problem in each box. So, be very cautious about buying this!
this set looked great in the picture ,,,it was so difficult to put the chairs together ,,they scratch very easily... the holes for the screws do not line up correctly making it impossiable to screw these chairs together ,,i am so dissapointed...
I looked for a long time to find a 6 seat table and chair set for a small area; this is the perfect set. The table top is nice looking and substantial. It does not feel wobbly when eating. The chairs fit under it nicely and are very comfortable. The only issues I have had have been with the chairs. There was some difficulty putting them together but they do seem durable as far as the frame is concerned. The wicker seat and seat back have held up so far, but I do notice a few areas where looseness has occurred. I will have to watch for unraveling, but nothing major so far.
This is a very nice patio dining set. It looks very expensive. Assembly is a challenge though, but worth it when you are done.
