Otherwise I am very happy with how they block out the sun and heat. I'm not happy that since I washed them before hanging, they hang below my blinds I was trying to cover up and now I have to buy an additional set to fully cover the width of the window. I'll also have to buy a valance to cover the shortened/shrunken length. Overall their claims of darkening are true.

    These should be listed as light filtering drapes, not blackout drapes. One panel was noticeably lighter than the other and had several holes in it. It seems it didn't have as much backing applied to it. Neither was dark enough to be called blackout.
