This futon was easy to put together (15 min max) and is easy to open and close. Mattress is not very comfortable, the bottom of the mattress is the most firm and full (it makes the seat part of the couch) and the middle and top are lacking. I sleep on it folded in to futon form, thank god I'm short. Couch part is barely enough for three adults to fit on. (I'm 5'2 and I stretch from one end to the other.) Much better looking in person than in the photo. Frame is metal and wood slates. Overall I like it, but I am short on space and a real bed would not work. Mattress is not something most people could sleep on every day.

I chose this futon because it was king-size, most are full. It arrived in a box that was open and completely destroyed. My husband had to take vice-grips and a hammer to do body work on the frame to straighten it enough to put together. All the hardware was missing so we had to contact the company that sold it for nuts and bolts before we could put it together. Velcro needed to attach mattress to frame was missing. The frame had scratches in the paint. The cover is a nightmare to put on. If it had not been such a large purchase, we would have returned it. Fortunately it is in a spare room that will rarely be used. I would not recommend this futon.

The matt is really not what i though it was going to be. if the whole thing was made like the seating area i think then i would be happy and where do i find more covers for this thing?

I thought the bed was shipped pretty quickly. It was easy to assemble and had very few parts for me to mess up - I'm NOT that great at putting things together. I also thought it was a good value for the price - I looked at quite a few twin size futon FRAMES ( only - no mattress or anything else included ) for around this same price. My son absolutely LOVES this thing. All around good buy IMO - I do not regret my purchase at all.

The futon arrived in good condition - the packaging of the frame has much needed room for improvement. Right now we're letting the mattress expand atop our queen size bed, it is def bigger than the bed so maybe it's close to king size - it has springs in the bottom cushion that we were unaware of but so far, so good. We'll see how this thing turns out and post another review in the near future.
