I love the twin size futon Bed. It comes with every thing. It was quick to assemble and makes a nice item to use as a chair for a reading room or make it into a bed for guest. As with all sleeper beds, you have to add a little cushion where the matress bends, but other than that, it is a wonder product. I'm very satisfied with this product.

This is a nice solid piece of furniture and I saw it on other web sites for literally double what Overstock charges, so it's a great deal. However, my mistake was not believing the review comments about difficult and frustrating assembly. I thought, "how hard can it really be?" The answer: unbelievably hard. This is the absolute worst set of assembly instructions I have ever had with a product! There are no verbal instructions, only pictures and the pictures aren't very helpful. I worked for an hour and still could not get some of the holes to line up for placement of the designated screws. Extremely frustrated, I finally gave up. I'm having to call in help to get it finally assembled. Please tell the manufacturer that the instructions should be written out clearly or placed on the Web for easy access, and that the parts should be clearly labeled. The frustration of assembly takes all the joy out of buying the product and, if I had believed that before ordering, I would not have bought this chair.

Good - It has a nice beige cover that will go with any decor. The frame is nice and folds out to the bed position easily.Bad - The mattress is flat in two parts so it can fold into the chair position making it very lumpy and uncomfortable. The directions are nothing more than a before and after picture and you have to figure out what to do on your own. Do-able, but would it really have been so hard to give a step by step guide?Ugly - The pillow it comes with has a nasty smell, which is no big deal really because its ugly anyway.Bottom line - The frame and the cover are good and if I can find a decent futon mattress to use on it I think it will be fine. I am going to try a memory foam mattress because I think it will fold into the chair position easier and be more comfortable over all.

I think it is as comfortable as you could expect this type of product to be. It looks great. and serves its purpose. It didn't arrive with all the screws, so I had to wait for those. Putting it together is a challege, even once you decipher the impossible diagram (there really aren't any "directions"). I would recommend it to a friend because I could help them assemble it.

Love this chair, it's modern , fresh and most of all comfortable. But what's with the directions ? They need to enclose more detailed & clearer instructions. Got them together in about an hour and a half ( 2 of them). Wonder how fast they'll set up when my grand kids get here.

I bought this sleeper chair about 6 months ago from another website and I love it. It is very sturdy and stylish. I am a single mom and not really handy but the chair took me about 45 minutes to put together. It wasn't that bad getting it put together.....I also had my one year old trying to help. The slipcover is made of thick fabric which is good. It is a tight fit and you have to struggle a little to get it on, but it needs to be that way to keep the futon in place. It is easier the 2nd time you put it on. I love the fact that I can wash the slipcover in the washing machine on gentle......again I have a 1 year old...need I say more. My neice who sleeps over says it is comfortable and I have layed on it........it is a thick futon. Also...the price is great.........OverStock is $80.00 cheaper than the other website I bought from! I had to google this Studio Chair to find it because the other website was completely sold out. That is how I found it here! My mom loves it so much that she is buying 2 for her house.

I bought this chair to go in our spare bedroom for occassional sleepovers. It was so hard to put together that it took my husband and I two hours to do it. Then the cover didn't fit right. When our son came to visit from college this week he wouldn't sleep on it because of how uncomfortable it was! So he slept on an air mattress and we now have to go out and buy a twin size mattress set for that room. This will now just be a chair for the family room. Very disappointing.

you get what you pay for, in every sense. i looked all over for a convertible chair to fit my spare bedroom and they were all so expensive. i saw this one a thought, "finally, something in my price range!" i should've spent more. by the time i was done putting it together i was frustrated, not proud. i haven't sat or made any attempt to try it out as of yet, i had to walk away and take a break.so, if you have all the patience and don't care what's under the very nice cover, go for it! the cover is nice, i struggled to get it on but i assume (hope) it will fit the mold in time.and, yes, the previous reviewer was spot on!!! instructions are non existent!! take a few hours after the first viewing to gain new perspective.

The assembly instructions were non-existent. I assemble a lot of furniture and am accustomed to the picture only trend instructions. The single page that arrived with the futon pictured the pieces then it fully assembled. Nothing was numbered or no hint on how to assemble. I was thisclose to returning but really didn't want to go through the hassle. The piece is also very heavy and I live in the 4th floor of an old Victorian with the stairs to match. I called a friend and between the 2 of us we got it together but not without a struggle. As a chair it is comfortable, as a bed it will need to be topped with an egg-crate pad. Where the mattress bends creates a large separation. The part that flips over the back is lumpy. Another huge disappointment is that the chair cover, while a decent quality, does not slip over the chair thus it can not be used. Very disappointing as this was one of the selling points. This was the 2nd piece of furniture purchased from Overstock.com, and will be my last. This does not mean I will no longer purchase items, only those that do not need assembly.
