JUST GORGEOUS! WAS GOING TO PLACE IT ON OUR SUNDECK BUT IT IS TOO BEAUTIFUL! MY HUSBAND INSISTED ON PUTTING THIS ON THE FIREPLACE MANTEL. HE SAYS THAT IT LOOKS LIKE AN EGYPTIAN CAT (HE LOVES IT! AND HE IS EXTREMELY FUSSY WITH QUALITY!).. I WOULD BUY THIS AGAIN. HOPEFULLY, OVERSTOCK WILL LIST A SIMILAR ONE ONLY IN A DIFFERENT COLOR OR SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT. THEN I WILL HAVE TWO! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS QUALITY PIECE! ALMOST A MUSEUM PIECE!

This piece is an absolute must for cat lovers. It is taller than I expected, or maybe just looks taller as it is a slim figure. It has an excellent finish and would go with any garden decor. I plan to use mine as a center piece for my side garden. The piece alone deserves 5 stars, I rated it 4 stars because I feel it is a bit too expensive, it would have been better at $30, but definitely worth getting if you have a viewable area to display it.

My cats love this patina cat as much as I do: They like to sit near it. It goes nicely with my brass greyhound and the other statuesque animals on duty in the living room. I thought it would be taller. I thought it would be heavier, solid, not hollow. It is well-constructed, quite durable and sturdy--like old-fashioned aluminum pots. I love the features of the face and details of the ears. I would recommend it to any ailurophile. It's a keeper!

This piece is solidly built but note its height before you commit to buying as it is not a tall statue. It is an elegant and understated outdoor decor, especially if you like cat motifs in your yard. It complements another product available at overstock.com, a mother and cat figure in their home and garden section. The product could improve its value for the money by being priced about $15 lower than what it lists for. However, I have not been able to find this kind of statue elsewhere so I have no regrets on the purchase.

I have to say I was disappointed in this statue. It looks FAR better in the picture, it looks kinda chinsy in person. Definatly not worth the price, $20 is more like it. I was planning on putting mine in the garden, and for that use it's fine, but for a decoration in the house, I don't think so!

I actually purchased this to use as a marker for where we have three of our beloved pets buried (yes, we're some of those weird people who have a pet cemetery...). It's a beautiful little statue, and every time I look at it perched on top of the holder my husband made, it makes me smile. We bought it over three years ago, and it still looks like new, in spite of the fact that we have anywhere between 2 and 5 feet of snow every winter.

I have this cat in my garden on top of an overturned dollar store stepping stone so it stands up straight and doesn't tip over- also, so bugs don't crawl into the hole underneath the cat. It is a handsome cat and not cheesy or cheap-looking at all, A little shorter than expected, even though I did look at the dimensions; I guess 15 inches really isn't all that tall. Would be nice outdoors or in. Very happy with the purchase.

Not too impressed with this item. It is much smaller than it appears in the photo and it is not nearly as shiny. It's okay and not worth the trouble to return, but I certainly would not have gotten it had I seen it up close before-hand.

i ordered the cat becase i thought it might be a good addition to my front porch , however i was rather disappointed . it is a little smaller than i expected and not as heavy. I know others don't agree with me and that's ok. I just think i could have put my money to better use. Hope others are more pleased. Good Luck

Having looked for elegant cat statues suitable for outdoors use for 2 years, I was thrilled to find these. The upright classic pose is suberb. The small footprint allows placement on most front steps or in front of step rails. They avoid the whimsy/silly poses of most cat statues. They were exactly what I searched for for 2 years!

Exactly what I wanted. The cat is sleek and regal. It is perfect in the garden or by my door. The rich color is fantastic and it was well worth the price. Heavy enough to not fall over easily.

I purchased this for my niece whose kitty had recently passed on. It is too soon to have another "real" cat so I got this for her. She LOVES it. She says it reminds her of her kitty every time she glances at it. I don't know how durable it is but everything else is top-knotch.

This cat statue is just as described and shown on the Overstock listing. I gave it to my mother-in-law, a cat and knick knack lover, and she likes it a lot.

Sitting on the rug by the door, stately is how I would describe this sculpture. A warm welcome when you enter my home. An item everyone can love. I would recommend this item to all my friends, and enemies too, as it conveys a warmth when you gaze upon it and even enemies need to have a warm fuzzy feeling every once in awhile.

It was the right size at the right price. It fit in my garden perfectly and doesn't look cheap.

Not as big or as heavy as what I expected to be able to use outdoors. I wanted it for my front porch, but to lighweight for that. i hvae it in my home. Nice, but thought it would have been bigger.

I ordered the Patina Finished Cat as a Christmas gift for my daughter. I know she's going to love it. It is smooth and stately, and will make a wonderful addition to her cat collection.
