Bring the evening sky indoors with these patterned thermal blackout curtains. Available in four star-printed colors, these curtains block out the bright morning light so you can sleep as late as you want while helping to keep out extreme heat or cold....more
I am very pleased with these curtains for my son's room. I got the beige pair but they seem to block the light just fine, although they are a light color. I think they are a bit pricey considering they are just polyester panels, and one of mine seems to be sewn a bit crooked. Still, it is not very noticeable and they were super easy to put up. They have both a rod pocket and loops at the top so you can choose how to hang them.
I purchased these curtains for my 15 month old's bedroom; his room is in the front of the house so he gets full sun right as he is going to bed. We needed blackout curtains that would keep the room dark enough for my little guy to sleep but also wanted a good pair of curtains. I was pleasantly surprised when I received these; they look great, the fabric feels nice and they don't have that cheap looking plastic on the back. The blue color is perfect, kind of a dusty navy and works with his existing bedding from the nursery. Plus, once he gets older, they don't have that cutesy baby look and will be able to grow with him. Have no regrets at all with this purchase!

I purchased a set in both Navy and Beige. The Navy ones black out 100% of the light. The beige ones do not. While they certainly do make the room dark, you can still see a bit of daylight coming through the curtains if the sun is shining directly through the windows. Overall these are wonderful -- they drape very nicely.
I bought these for our home theater room. I was extremely happy with the weight and feel of fabric. They are silky. The sheen is beautiful. I purchased black. Blackout feature - great! It really depends on your curtain rod.
I bought these long and actually hung them sideways - I needed to cover a 50 x 84" window so I sewed my own curtain rod sleeve. Worked perfect since this was not a "two piece" blackout curtain.
I ordered the navy color for my daughter's light blue room and this is perfect! The pictures do not do justice - the real thing is so much prettier than the picture. Unlike regular hard-backed blackout curtains, the material of this one is soft, kind like satin, but thick and heavy. The stars are metallic, at night when there is some light outside of the room the curtain sparkles beautifully. The blackout effect is amazing. It totally blocks the light - I'll say 100%! I love it so much and am very happy with it. I thought it was a little pricy but when I got it I think it's really worth the price!

They are soft, hang well, look great in our livingroom. We really like them.
One piece of advice that we didn't think to do when we got the rods (suggested at time of checkout) ... get rods that are curved toward the wall at the ends so they curtains can do their best job of keeping out the cold right on up to the rods. We bought the silver straight urn rods, bad idea ... they look nice but don't curve toward the wall so cold can get through as the curtains go up toward the 2" gap of the rods. Nice rods but don't get them for thermal/insulated curtains.
I would recommend these curtains if you like some sparkle ;o}
Drapes arrived promptly and wrinkles disappeared when hung. I was very glad to have the suppied tiebacks. Drapes do indeed darken room. Light appears above rod and I would recommend placing the rod higher than one might ordinarily to mitigate the light infiltration. My grandson likes the stars. I would prefer plain, but hey, the drapes are for a kid's room.
The navy blue is very dark, almost black.
We got the pink pair. They look very nice, but they don't block out all of the light; if I got a 2nd pair, it might do better. The pink is kind of a dusty rose color; definitely not a traditional pink. The silver stars are great, though. The light from the crib soothera, night lights, etc, really bounce off of the stars. I'm sure the blue ones are even better and probably block out the light better.

Thank you for your question j1star29. The size of the rod which is smaller than 1.6 inches diameter will be great to be used because the diameter of the grommets is 1.6 inches. Have a great day. overstockcustomercare1 on Apr 25, 2014
I have them on a one inch rod buy can hold up to 2 incheswc1969 on Apr 27, 2014
I need to hang curtains from my son's blinds since one window is flushed to a wall so I can't hang a rod. Can I do that with these curtains and what are those special curtain hooks that attach to blinds called.baskal on Mar 8, 2014Please enter a valid question.Answer This Question
NOT SURE THEY HAVE A ATTACHED FABRIC LOOP BEHIND FRONT FOR RODS.joyce37091 on Mar 12, 2014
Thank you for your question baskal. To be honest, we are not sure how you would attached curtains to blinds.
But, if it is a rod that can hold up to 10 pounds or so it should be able to work. You can also use pins, but the look will not be as nice. Have a great day.overstockcustomercare1 on Mar 14, 2014
Is this same as item 14695680 other than the Grommet portion? At least material and the quality? Or both are different?curtains123 on Oct 18, 2013Please enter a valid question.Answer This Question

Hi, what's the weight of this curtain. i'm using a extend rod, don't think can hold heavy weight. thanks!sq2139 on Jul 26, 2013Please enter a valid question.Answer This Question
Hello sq2139, We only have the shipping weight which in this case should be close to the actual curtain weight. The pair weighs 5 lbs or 2.5 lbs each. We hope this helps you and thank you for shopping with us. overstockcustomercare1 on Jul 26, 2013
These are kind of heavy, you'll need a rod that won't bow... I had to buy a new rod because my curtain rod couldn't hold them up.rainapril10 on Aug 13, 2013
I'm looking for the type that have hooks on the back that you loop through the clips on the rod and then use a rope to open and close the blinds. If that made sense, would these work for that?jlsolberg on Jul 24, 2013Please enter a valid question.Answer This Question
