i was trying to match a retired oneida pattern and this comes very close. exceptional quality. large pieces. hefty in weight. should last a lifetime.
Nice set of silverware. Heavy but not too heavy and holds in your hand well. Washes nice too.
So, the product itself did have any problem, but I did not like the fact that the mark on the Silver says "made in china". Not that i am against products made in china but i would have prefered to see a company name, even if it is the most unique name in the world. Dont care about the name either but "made in X" is no name of a company either nor a brand. As far as the product quality goes, couldnt be any better. expected to see an 18/10 quality silver and sure it is. if you are looking for some silverware that last, look for an 18/10 grade silverware.
The flatware set i had before for casual dining was not as costly, and although it looked nice, it was very light-weight. This time around, i wanted something a little heavier. I did not do a lot of shopping around before buying, so can't attest to it being a good deal or not, but i like the simple yet elegant design, and am very pleased with my purchase.
Very happy - washes beautifully (don't use lemon dish detergent!), a nice weight to the set. Rated average for durability because I've only had it for one month - but so far am very happy. The size of the dinner fork and soup soon is a little large, but not enough to ruin the set - just more man-sized - not dainty.
Love the flatware. Restaurant style quality. Heavy weight. Very elegant looking. Would definitely recommend.
I ordered two sets and was impressed upon arrival and with use am even more impressed with the heft of the individual pieces, especially the knifes: no namby-pamby item this! The simplistic, but elegant, pattern is a perfect compliment to the Farberware Santa Barbara dinnerware purchased the same day. A nice way to set a table for company.
This flatware is absolutely beautiful. It is weighty and well balanced. The dinner fork is unusually large, but that is actually something we really like. We received the 4-place setting as a Christmas gift and loved it so much we went back online and ordered the 8-place setting too, so now we never run out of spoons before the dishwasher is run. I always wondered why my old stainless flatware had spots on it - I learned from the care instructions with this set that you don't use dishwasher detergent that contains lemon.
OK, so it doesn't feel like Cristofal. But Cristofal costs $100 per place setting. But it does feel solid. Not flimsy at all. And it's quite stylish. I bought the 45 piece set because after many moves I'd lost so many pieces of my original set. I've had my original set for more than 10 years and haven't got a single complaint. It's held up for hundreds of rides in the dish washer and never lost its shine. It looks and feels more expensive than it is and I'd buy it again. Actually, I DID buy it again!
This 45-piece flatware set is attractive, just the right 'piece count' for a liason of two adults, and relieves each of you from having to do the dishes every night, just so you have a clean knife, fork, and spoon for your next-day meals.
