THIS TRASHCAN WAS JUST PERFECT FOR MY BATHROOM WE HAD A 'STEP ON' TRASH CAN THAT CONSTANTLY WAS BEING 'PUSHED' AROUND THE BATHROOM. THIS WORKS PERFECT IN THAT IT OPENS AS SOON AS YOUR AT THE RIGHT DISTANCE WITHOUT BEING OVERLY SENSITIVE TO MOVEMENT. IT'S THE BEST SIZE FOR A BATHROOM OR A HOME OFFICE.

I have it 6 days .. very good space inside.. fits everywhere..goodlooking outside...easy to empty..it also opens in total dark!! amazing!I hope it will work for many years without problem because it was expensive(price of product+shipping costs )

Although the price is a bit high for a trash can its a good and so far reliable item. I have a very curious cat that always dug in the trash and this was a good quick fix to stop his bad habit.

this can is great I even got a smaller one for my bathroom it looks great but i did get a dent in it but on a side you dont' see. It's a real conversation piece everybody who sees it wants one. Overstock has the best items and they ship right away.

This trash can is just too small to handle any job. It does not open and close well like the bigger ones do. I have three and thought they were built on the same premise, but they are not.

I bought 3 of them for living room, restroom and by my desk. It's prefect size. It's open quick and easy to take the inner tracking out. I love it.

I purchased two sizes of these cans. They look and work great. The only flaw is there is a slight dent on the curved edge of each can. It is not very noticeable, but you can see it. It may be a manufacturing flaw. Overall these are great looking and very functional items.

If used as a trash can it is o.k. The sensor does not work correctly therefore the lid does not open nor close correctly. But it holds trash so it is not a complete waste. Appearance is fine.

Works great - watch out though - this is a small, office sized trash can. I didn't read the description carefully and had intended this to replace my kitchen trash. After being pleased with this one though I ordered its "big brother" for the kitchen ;) Note you'll need 4 D batteries.
