These are ADORABLE but, yes, they are hard to get open and are thin which does make it seem like you might get cut when you open them. I even tried to lubriate the surface but it;s still a struggle. Read the reviews - they are right on..

I ordered the pair of paw print canisters because my BAD kitty knocked my others off the counter breaking them. I needed something, obviously, that would not break and these are perfect. I keep doggie treats in one and cat food in the other. They are attractive and their design is so appropriate for pet treats! And so far the kitty has not pushed these off....

This suits the purpose well. I wanted it for my puppies food and it works out nice. Because it's stainless steel it goes well with my kitchen. I would reccommend this product and I am very happy with my purchase. Price was great for what I received.

These cannisters aren't huge, but they do hold enough treats and are air tight. Be careful, I dropped one of the lids and they dent very easily. Other than that, their worth the ****.

I was leery of buying this after reading they are small canisters and was pleasantly surprised when I received them. Theya are the PERFECT size! I wanted one canister to hold my dogs vitamins and use both...one for his vitamins the other for his treats. They are adorable!

These canisters are incredibly cute. I ordered them to replace an old ceramic treat jar that didn't go so well with the granite counters. These were perfect. Previous reviews mentioned disappointment with the sizes, and while the large canister is something I would really consider more of a medium, it holds plenty of treats for my large Akita. The smaller canister is great for "special" treats and keeps soft treats quite fresh. I really wanted to give these canisters 5 stars all across, but they weren't quite as shiny as I'd hoped and one had a few small scratches. However, I expect they'd get scratched over the years with use anyhow, and they weren't very noticable. Would definitely order again.

These Dog Paw Canisters are ok, not exactly as big as I thought they would be, I cant hold that many dog bone treats

glad i finally broke down and purchased these canisters for the dog treats. One for small training bits, and the other for larger treats for the kongs, etc....

These canisters are very strong and durable, I find them to be of excellent quality. The 2 sizes work great for me as I have house dog treats in them and my dogs have 2 different treats. They are very attractive and blend in with my other stainless steel appliances. Great buy!

The canisters were not at all what I expected. They are very light and hard to open. They were dirty and rusted on the top. I am returning them. I have seen much better values elsewhere.

Workmanship not the greatest. The lid for the large one sticks and is very difficult to get off. There is sharp metal on the inside, so be careful when cleaning.

They look fine. The workmanship was not what I expected but for what I wanted them for they are fine.

Made very well. I love the decorative paw prints and see through window. Perfect for dry catfood. Cats not able to help themselves. Will buy another set and use the smaller canister for cat treats
