They do not have a non skid bottom at advertised. When I first got them they were not exactly the styling I was looking for but my husband said he liked so I kept. I am so glad I did. I love them. I have another bowl set that I paid more money for that is not as thick metal as these. They are very durable and the styling has grown on me - would definately recommend - good value for the money.

These bowls are easy to use and clean and as I have needed a new set I find them great for all purposes.

I bought these bowls based on the review that said they actually did NOT have the non-skid bottoms. I've been looking for affordable stainless steel bowls for a while and these fit the bill perfectly. They are sturdy and the sizes are great - nice and deep. Very similar to the bowls I've always liked when I worked in restaurant kitchens but cheaper. The fact that they are not non-skid means that they can come in direct contact with heat which is essential for some of the things that I cook.

These bowls are not non-skid as described. They are stainless steel all the way around and cheap at that. I sent mine back...not happy at all. This is the first Overstock purchase I am unhappy with.
