I bought this pot about two months ago and totally love it! Thanks for the people who wrote the reviews and helped me to decide which one to buy. I would recommend this producet to a friend.

We have been well pleased with this product. NO more boiling water on the stove or waiting for the microwave. Instantly have water at the right temperature any time of the day. This water pot has more than one temperature setting and can be adjusted to your liking or type of beverage being consumed. One can also easily see when the pot needs to be refilled. The swivel base is a nice feature if it is to be set in a corner area. The automatic lock out feature might be considered a nuisance but I would not consider it an inconvience. The color/design is pleasing for counter top viewing and is easily wiped down. The generous 3 liter capacity allows a small family to go several days without refilling but would be plenty large enough to maintain the average family for a day. If there is a down side - the instructions do require placement one foot from walls due to the heat as well as some over head space to allow for the steam which is released. So if space is an issue might consider where you would place it. I am one that despises 'kitchen gadets" which take up cabient or counter space and provide seldom usage........but I am very pleased with this appliance and would purchase it again.

I like this hot water pot much better than the previous one I purchased (and returned) from OVERSTOCK, because this one did NOT have a strong plastic odor. Unlike other pots, there is minimal amount of plastic which makes contact with the metal sections that are heated. It boils water quickly and also has a reboil feature which is very helpful when refilling the pot during family gatherings. Also, this pot has four "holding" temperatures: 280, 194, 176 and 140 degrees. I have found that 140 degrees is hotter than needed for most green teas, but coffee drinkers appreciate scalding temperatures on the opposite end of the temperature scale. ;-) Another plus: the water dispenser has a lock/unlock feature to prevent busy-fingered children from accidentally scalding themselves or others. All in all, this is an excellent hot water pot which is well-worth the price (which is higher than some others available on OVERSTOCK) I paid for it.

This is just great..... it works wonderfull and I recommend it...... even though there is cheaper ones than this, I still recommend this one over all the rest as this is not my first one I have I had quite a few ones and this is the best......... Thank you Overstock.com it was a pleasure dealing with you.....

It's an ok product. The turning bottom doesn't really turn. The dispense button is locked and needs to be constantly unlocked to get water. The actual dispensing of water is a tiny stream, so it can be annoying. The product could be better for the price.
