Not bad at all! This is a pretty nice set for the money. The blades and handles look handmade. There is however a few spots where the handles don't perfectly match up with the blade, just little knicks, nothing major. Being a chef, I would have liked the blades to be a little sharper, but a quick sharpen on the stone and they will be good to go. All in all they are a pretty good value and look nice. A great starter or home use set.

Dont do it I orderded this set and wasnt expecting great. just somthing i could play with at home for sushi partys. when i receved the knifes everyone of the handels were broken and the blades were in need of a tristone. i sent them back and had another set sent out. the set i got back was worst off than the last. if the handels had been ok i would have kept them and fixed up the blades my self.

great value/great knives... Great quality for the price. Certainly not damascus steel but I find myself using these knives with some of the same results as I get from my far more expensive knives...actually thought about getting an extra set.

Sushi Knife Set These are not what I would consider to be high quality, however they will serve nicely as a beginner set for my 17 year old son, who is now training to be be a Sushi Chef. He will be able to leave them at work without worrying that they disappear; he cannot carry a set of knives around at school.

5 piece sushi knives Although I have not had alot of oopurtunity to use these knives the times I have,I have been more than pleased. They are sharp.And they are comfortable. I think the sleeves could be a bit more sturdy ( plastic ) but they are kept in a canvas case so the sleeves are not entirerly necessary.

Great quality/ Great price!! These knives are even better than I'd imagined. They are attractive and the handles have a good comfortable feel, and they are nice 'n sharp! Great gift for anyone who loves to cook/prepare foods. Definitely should not pass up at such a great price. Note: the case is not the greatest quality to keep the knives in at all times (I'm using mine to hold art paintbrushes :)
