Great Economical Knives
I purchased this set for our vacation home. I was searching forever to find an economical set of knives that would do a decent job of cutting and was dishwasher safe. I personally never put my knives in the dishwasher but I didn't know if renters would place the knives in the dishwasher. Based on reviews of these knives, I purchased them and have been very happy. The knives are very heavy giving the feel of knives 4x as expensive. The chef knife is the one I have used most often so far and it cuts better than my very expensive chef knife at home. The set also cleans up very nicely and looks great on the counter. I can't speak to long-term use as I have just had them a few months, but so far I love them and highly recommend them.

Great gift
Last Christmas we decided to replace the ancient knife set my mother in law had with this set. She loves them! Its been over a year now and they are still going strong. She's a big cook, so they've gotten used quite a bit.

Good knife set
Only criticism is that after a few times in the dishwasher, a couple of the knives do have small rust looking spots. We do have very hard water. Handsome set - knives sharp enough and useful

Great knife set, but watch you finger they are really sharp. Ive had mine for about a year they have not rust or dulled.
