Easy to use
I really like that I can cook pasta in it and just lift the basket out of the water--no need to use another colander for draining. We steam vegetables a lot and the top basket works great for that purpose. I wish it were a little heavier but all in all , it's a great product.

You can steam and boil at the same time. Great. The pot is quiet tall so you may fit enough food in it.

Works well!
I was very excited to get this product and it has been working fine for me. The steamer part is cheap seeing as the handles do fall out and I just threw it away right off the bat. But it is great to be able to cook corn in the strainer part and still be able to steam vegetables in the top part. It is great to be able to lift it all out and not have to worry about dumping the water out. For the price, this is exactly what I was looking for.

Not for induction stoves.
I bought this to use on my induction stove as it said it was stainless steel. Since I have never had a problem with anything else I have ever bought on overstock, I never thought twice about this product and just put it away with my other pots for a couple of weeks. I went to cook with this pot last night and it wouldn't work on my stove. I tried to put a magnet on it and it would not stick. I think this pot is made from aluminum, it is not stainless or it would have worked on my induction stove. I have no packaging to send it back, so I'm stuck with it. It would make a pretty flower pot, or maybe I can give it tio someone with an electric stove.

8 quart steamer set
Out of the ten product ordered - this was the best and seems to be just great. Much better construction than the one it replaced. Would very definetly recommend this to anyone!
