For an inexpensive pot, (I have one similar) it serves multi purposes. If you're not interested in Designer Models, and the prestige of a logo.....this pot will do the trick. If you scratch it or ding it, it won't feel as bad as doing damage to a $375 pot.

We received this for a wedding gift several years ago and it sat it the box the first year or two we were married. Eventually we cleaned out the basement and took this out of the box. AND DID I MISS OUT!!!! THIS IS A WONDERFUL ITEM TO HAVE and now that we have children, I almost always have it out on the stove. It's great for cooking spagetti and then draining it in the basket and then letting it sit inside the pot to completely drain. This consolidates space while your cooking. During the summer, I needed to peel large amounts of tomatoes from the garden and I used the small basket to keep the tomatoes underwater (they floated to the top) so that the skins of the tomatoes will pop off without any problem. Like most mom's there is always a pile of dishes and a million things to do. I would put my potatoes in the bottom and then my carrots in the top basket to save more space and cooking time. I would not go without this pot and highly recommend this to anyone.
