There are 2 items with slightly different prices but the exact same photo. I ordered both because I couldn't find or get any explanation of the difference. So here's the difference: Overstock # 12032167-000-000 "Cooks Pro Stainless Steel 8-quart Pasta Cooker-Stainless Pasta Cooker and Overstock # 12032203-000-000 "Stainless Steel 4-piece Multi-purpose Pasta Cooker-Stainless Pasta Cooker are exactly the same EXCEPT that the bottom of the bottom pot (the one that rests on the burner) of # 12032203-000-000 "Stainless, etc." is not as heavy duty as # 12032167-000-000 Cook's Pro, etc." It IS still firm and solid, medium weight, NOT lightweight and thin like some other pot's I've seen whose bottoms I could actually pop like a cheap cookie tin. The bottom pot by itself weighs 2 1/4 lbs for the heavier one (#528) and 1 1/2 lbs on the lighter one (#512) The manufacturer's model/SKU is #528 on the heavier-weight pot and is #512. on the medium-weight pot. I am keeping the heavier one #528 because I expect to use it a lot. Hope this helps someone else make a choice.

I bought this thinking it would be used only for pasta but find I use it frequently for everything. It is good quality w/ a strong bottom so one doesn't get that warping that is common w/ cheaper pots.

This pot is a good value for the price charged.It is not as heavey as some of the more high priced pots but will function just as well

The product is pristine and excellent quality. Unfortunately, last week I was at my local Boscov's Department store and saw the exact same product for $XX! Just thought I'd let you know that. I definitely overpaid for it.

Was really looking forward to using the pasta cooker. After just one use in which pasta was boiled the rings of my electric stove element are stained into the bottom of the pot. What a disappointment that was. Otherwise happy with purchase.

This is a fine product, though the gage of the stainless steel is significantly lighter than I expected. Nonetheless, it appears to be well made and works well so far. I have used this cooker for steaming vegetables three times so far on my induction cook top for which it was purchased. It cooked quickly and evenly as hoped. Though the directions caution about cleaning in the dishwasher because of potential permanent spotting, I have not had a problem so far. The trick is to do what the directions say and remove the pot and strainer before the drying cycle OR immediately upon dishwasher completion. Regardless, I am very satisfied with this cooker and recommend it to others to buy.

I have not had a chance to use the pasta cooker, but I was very pleased when it arrived...Firstly, it is not TOOOOOOO heavy, today most pots/pans are extremely heavy....I can put it in dishwasher another plus, and looks like I will be using it for many things besides pasta......so I'm sure I will be pleased with it once I use it.........

I use this all the time, yes, the metal is kinda thin, but it makes cooking so much faster. I wouldn't give this as a gift though because the packaging was dirty when it came.

This product is for any cook out there. Rather it be for an amateur or professional cook. Outstanding product.

I ordered this as a gift for my best friend and had it shipped directly to her. She absolutely loved it! When I had a chance to visit, I finally got to see it and I was impressed! I bought this and recived it very quickly (as always with Overstock). I like it, but it really is very light weight. I cook a lot and prefer heavier pots and pans. Although it is very light, I would still recommend this products. It serves its purposes for steaming vegetables and cooking pasta and it is not too expensive.
