Horrible
from St. Paul, MN,  Mar 14, 2009

I bought this based on the reviews here, but now I'm wondering if I got the same product. They were very lightweight, the saute pan came with a big dent in it, and one of the lid's handles was in 2 pieces in the box when I opened it. The manual says you can't even use the cookware on high heat. How would you boil water? I used it once to make a grilled cheese sandwich and even on medium heat the sandwich burned in about 30 seconds. I threw them in the garbage and didn't even bother returning them so nobody else would have to suffer through them.

Cheap
 from ma,  Dec 12, 2009

Ok, I knew for the money these would not be great. I was right. I bought them for my daughters dorm. I guess they are ok for that. They are very light. They dont come clean. The handle came off one after about 6 times. Save your money.

Not bad
from Satellite Beach, FL,  Aug 22, 2009

This cookware set heats evenly and the handles do stay cool. The pots clean up beautifully. There has been some minor discoloration on the frying pans but that's to be expected, I think, given their purpose. But the saucepans and stockpot come out of the dishwasher looking as pristine as when I took them out of the box! The pots and pans are nice, but not too heavy.

Stainless steel pans
from Sicklerville, NJ,  Apr 23, 2009

For the price, I think it's a very good stainless steel cookware. It won't work for cooking eggs, they will stick very bad, unless you put enought olive oil, but most of the stainless steel pans are like that. Eventually you will get some spots hard to get out on soap but if you put some vinegar and add salt and scrub that a little and they'll be like new.

Smart housewife
from Atlanta GA,  Jan 13, 2010

I am not a super crazy cook, I cook a few times a week. These are just right for people like me! They clean up easy, they are as shiny as the day I bought them, I even have used a metal fork to stir, unlike nonstick I don't have to worry about the nonstick coating peeling off, because they are scratch free.

Nice Value for Product
from Seattle, WA,  Oct 1, 2009

This is a very nice set of pots and pans for the price. The set is a bit lightweight, so don't expect to get heavyweight durability with the cost. They heat evenly and are easy to clean. Foods do stick if you don't use enough oil or cooking spray, but it's nice to know you're not getting the chemicals from non-stick coating in your food. Once again, these pots and pans are lightweight and not top-of-the-line, but for the cost they're a great value and cook well.

Feel "balanced"
from Middletown, CT,  Aug 14, 2009

I shopped for affordable stainless steel cookware for a while. This set is practical and it cleans up easily. Nice flat heating base. Fast heating at low to medium heat. It cooks at a fraction of the temperature of lesser quality cookwares. The handles are alright for the price. Even filled, they do not feel over whelming heavy.

Better than non-stick
from Omaha, NE,  Aug 7, 2009

I had the non-stick cookware for a long time and this was the first set I've had that doesn't have that coating. The first few times I used it, I set the heat too high and the stuff stuck to the bottom of the pan. It was extremely difficult to get out. However, now that I have gotten the hang of it, things are better. The set is lightweight, but yet it is sturdy. The handles have do not have the rubber coating like my last non-stick cookware set, but they do stay cool. This set doesn't seem to be dishwasher safe. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because of the time it would take to clean the pans when stuff is really stuck in them, but I think that would happen with any "stick"ware. But, as I said before, now that I am getting the hang of having this type of cookware, things don't stick as much or as bad. This set is relatively easy to handle which I love.

Nice cookware pieces
from Shoreline, WA,  Jul 4, 2009

Heats evenly and the fry pan browns nicely. It is nice cookware for a reasonable price - I cannot justify spending $400 on pots and pans. The handle does get hot after a while on the burner, but that is to be expected. The glass lids are greater than the stainless steel lids. You know when foods are done. They do get scratched if you use metal utensils, so I only use wooden utensils even if they are stainless steel. Overall good value and good price.

No complaints
 from Tennessee,  Jun 30, 2009

I was looking for cookware to replace my teflon set that only lasted about a year. I figured I'd give this stainless steel set a try and when I received the set I was very impressed. It actually was better than what I expected. All of the pots and pans looked very strong and durable. I have been using this set for more than two months and I am very happy with the way it cooks my food for my family; no more peeling. Once in a while, there are stains on the bottom of the cookware. I thought the clean up would be difficult but I was wrong. When that happends, I usually soak them in vinegar and then wash them with warm water. If something sticks to the pots I just soak them in warm water for 15 minutes and than everything washes right off with a scrubbing sponge. This set looks very storng and durable and I'm anticipating for them to last a while.

Quite pleased
from Asheville, NC,  Jun 30, 2009

Everything is stainless steel. This set is beautiful, easy to wash, easy to cook with. This set is not as heavy as All-Clad, and the price can't be beat. The glass lids are great. With my weak hands, the wieght is right for me. The rims are slightly tapered, which help pour contents. Heating is very evenly distributed too.

stainless steel
from sterling heights, mi,  Jan 19, 2009

I was replacing my old pots and pans after 5 years of usage. This set is even better and likely to outlive my old set by far! Finish is so smooth and shiny. I put the fry pan to the ultimate test . . . scrambled eggs! Honestly, I expected them to stick like glue to the pan. I sprayed first with a non-stick spray, added a teaspoon of butter, and cooked the most perfect eggs ever. This pan worked great. I think the value is really great.

Shiney
 from California,  Nov 28, 2008

As the picture shows they are VERY polished looking. I read in another review that the stainless steel is thinner which is what made me buy it, I don't like the heavy cookware. The glass tops are nice and have a vent on the top. They include instructions/tips for keeping them looking nice which I appreciate - some I had not read before. I think they may get slightly lower reviews from others on the durability part because of the thinness but I personally like it.

Good starter set
 from Colorado,  Nov 24, 2008

I have been careful in my usage of them, avoiding using any metal and sharp utensils with them at all. Cook with common sense, use the right tools, and they are a great starter set of pots and pans!

Stainless Steel Cookware
from Los Angeles,  Nov 24, 2008

I purchased this product because they were affordable and they looked great. The product does look great and is extremely lightweight which is a plus. The cookware does heat up quickly and definitely not a non-stick product, even when pans are greased. They can be difficult to clean. Overall, they do the job but I am looking for a better set in the very near future.

My gandma enjoys cooking, so I gave her these pots and pans. I've not used this myself, so I wounldn't know about the quality, but my grandma has been telling me how much she likes this cookset because of it's weight and attractiveness.

After I bought these pots and pans, I realized that I wasn't such a bad cook after all. I love that they are stainless steel. They are a little on the light side, but heat evenly.
