Decent
tillman02  from Monte Vista,  Nov 18, 2009
I have had this set for several months. It looks just as good as it did when I bought it. It cleans up really nice. If you cook everyday, this is the set you need. This is a basic set, but it does the job. I use mine everyday and have really put it to the test.

I purchased this set for myself after moving cross-country and getting rid of old cookware. If you expect this cookware set to be as nice as those $300-400 stainless steel cookwawre set, you won't be satisfied. I'm no chef, but I do like to cook and I think these pots and pans heat evenly and the handles do, indeed, stay cool. The pots clean up beautifully. There has been some minor discoloration on the frying pans but that's to be expected, I think, given their purpose. But the saucepans and pot come out of the dishwasher looking as pristine as when I took them out of the box! They are pretty... Lastly, these pots and pans are not easy to handle and are exactly what I wanted.

10 piece cookware
jcline  from North Carolina,  Nov 17, 2009
As soon as I received this cookware, I dumped out all my old cookware. I've been using this cookware set for a few weeks now. My dinner came out so beautiful. Should have purchased these along time ago. When it was was time to wash them I had no problems at all.

We both like it
duckingg  from Athens,GA,  Nov 14, 2009
The set is a nice and very affordable. I would like a bit heavier if I could have my "druthers". Clean-up is easy just be sure and cook on a lower temp than you might be used to. It is not expensive so you won't break the bank, and it is nice looking. I like the glass lids so that I can keep an eye on what's cooking. I've recently bought a set for my daugher who's going to college in NY. She's learning to cook and i think this set is perfect for her.

10 pieces pots and pans
snijin  from Dayton, OH,  Nov 14, 2009
The set is shiny stainless steel. It has an disk base encapsulated by stainless steel. I love the glass lids. The dutch oven lid fits the fry pan. They work well with our ceramic glass cooktop.

Good stuff
weiksky  from Portland, OR,  Nov 13, 2009
I am pleased with the performance and style. Looks good and cooks generally ok with low to medium high heat. Good for seafood and typical American confort food. I just wanted to mention that after a while, the surfaces fail to maintain the original luster. Overall, I'd recommed this set because of its value.

stainless cookset
bellpoper  from San Jose, CA,  Nov 13, 2009
They heat up fast! Don't ever leave the pan to heat up and do something else while waiting. You'll be at the temp you need lickety split. It's a good idea to soak them a bit after cooking something sticky, then cleanup is a breeze.

not very good would be my over all impression, very flimsy but most likely about right for the cheap price. the old saying you get what you pay for applies here. but with overstocks flaky return policy on big items it just does not pay to send back. i gave mine to goodwill

I've used the pots several times and made a stew for my honey and myself. Perfert size for us. The frying pan needs some oil, or things will stick. Great value for the price.

I spent perhaps a little bit too much time reading the reviews about this product and I can say most are fair enough if not exactly accurate. The pots look very attractive and shiny but I doubt that the sheen will last as long as the life of the pots, especially at the inside which retained the shapes of grains of rice that I left there in the fridge for some time before washing it (maybe that was my fault though). The handles as some people have noted, are very flimsy. They are made of plastic for the most part. In a bid to screw one of the pot cover knob that was loose a little more tightly, it got broken (maybe that was my fault too). The pot washes well and I've not had problems with food sticking to it. I've always used pam or cooking oil on it before starting my cooking though.Overall, I will say it is very many pots and pan for the price and it looks good too but they must be used carefully if they are to be used for a reasonable length of time.

Cookwware
kciani  from Locust Grove, Georgia,  Oct 31, 2009
I sent this set of cookware to my son in Canada as a birthday gift. I was thrilled with the product info on line and in t he ease it took to order and have it shipped directly to him in Canada. That is a huge plus for me as it saves me the hassles of resending it once it is mailed to me. I personally have not seen or used the product as I am in Georgia, and he is in Canada, but the response I got from him was excellent. He loves the cookware, everything arrived in good shape and he is enjoying it.Again, the price was amazing for this set of cookware and being able to have overstock ship directly to him in Canada was terrific. Thank you!

Overall good
newtouseoverstock  from Oklahoma,  Oct 30, 2009
Received this product about three weeks ago. Cooks evenly, cleans nicely, looks great. Only thing I have found bad is that when we received them, one of the lids had a loose handle on it. Tried to tighten with the screw, but the thing to hold it in popped completely out. Nothing a little super glue can't fix though! Great for the price paid for it.

Worst pots and pans I have ever owned. Complete Junk. One of the lids broke after the first wash. Would not recommend this set to anyone.

I thought this deal was to good to be true and it is, altho these look well made in the pics they really are what I would call (a starter set) when u have no money and have to make do, they will not stand the test of time however, spend more and get forever set makes more sense in the long run

Looks good
madlyn888  from Houston, Tx,  Oct 22, 2009
I loved the look of this set with the glass tops and plastic handles but honestly, mistakenly thought these were the pots that were 18/10 stainless steel and they are not. My first use of the pot for boiling water left spots on the bottom , and although they suggest never to use high heat, I did not. I am very disappointed .

Starter set
westsmg  from Washington state,  Oct 21, 2009
We just purchased this set to replace an older set when we moved into our new appartment. I have used all of the items included in this set. This is a good starter set. If you were thinking that you would get a heavy weight cookware set, you will be disappointed. I like this set, because this is something I anticipated and the pans and pots have worked well so far.

I know they were a cheaper price item but I thought after reading the reviews I would give them a shot. I have to say the first time I used the fry pan I thought "wow..nice" But when it came to washing it, it had a haze left on the inside bottom that wouldn't wash out. That annoyed me. But when I tried to use it again, things stuck bad to it! And then the grip side handle cracked! And I did heat them up as suggested not on high or anything. I will use them for say pasta's (water) etc.. but to actually do my main cooking in them, not so much. A review I read that I should of listened to said, they might be good for a new cook...well actually I think they would be terrible for a new cook...would probably make them think they can't cook! lol But I see what they meant. They are beautiful and the lids I love (probably the best part of the set) I will use those on my older pots, but they are not the kind of functioning cookware I need. I guess trying to go cheap for once was my mistake...lesson learned.

OK for the price
jill23  from Seattle,  Oct 15, 2009
If you want light weight cookware, then this set is for you. It's really not bad for the price but not very substantial for the "experienced" cook who would probably desire a heavier set. I wanted to replace some of my old and worn pans with some that were not teflon coated. These did the trick. They wash well if you let them soak for a while. I did like the glass lids, very convenient to see through.
