  • This is not a 1.5 cu ft freezer!

    Be aware that even though this is described as a 1.5 cu ft freezer, it is only a 1.1 cu ft freezer. While this is only a .4 cu ft difference, it is a reduction of 27% under what I expected. I specifically ordered this freezer because it was described as being larger than its competitor, so I was surprised and not happy when it arrived and only 1.1 cu ft.

    We ordered this freezer to use primarily in the basement of our motorhome. It cooled to zero degrees within a few hours on our house counter top. Shipping was faster than represented and required negotiations with UPS to hold the delivery since no one was home. Since we have not used the freezer for any time at all, we can not comment on its durability.

    • I choose this product because I have the larger one and very pleased on how it keep my food frozen with little noise running. Also I wanted a smaller one as I want to only freeze fresh ice cream I will be making in my new Ice Cream maker.
