First off - the customer service from Overstock is wonderful. As with others, the top of this piece arrived broken. Overstock shipped me a new piece promptly - and took extra steps to ensure I got the piece in good shape. They were sympathetic and made the replacement part process painless. Good job - thanks!Now as for the piece itself - I am slightly disappointed. All in all, it is a decent table, but it does appear "cheaper" in person than in the picture. The wood grain is very pronounced so it doesn't look as sleek and modern as I was expecting. I ended up putting in a less prominent place than I orginally planned, and it works well and is stable, but it is not the "wow" piece I thought it would be

The price was great and the wood itself is great but the table arrived very splintered on a few edges and pretty banged up. It was surprising as everything we have ever purchased from Overstock has been fantastic - no complaints until now. The packaging looked good and it appeared to be well-packaged which added to our surprise at the scuff, splinters, scrapes and splits on the wood for this table.

I am very good at putting together furniture which I have received from ordering online. I found this table to have inferior assembly hardware. I had to drill extra holes and add longer wood screws to secure the legs as they were not secure after I used the hardware provided. It is a beautiful table and I am very happy with the workmanship and appearance of it.

As others stated, great looking table, however top portion of table was broken upon the DELAYED delivery. The assembly was time-consuming and further hendered by the lack of screws. The top portion of the table also cracked during assembly. Spend a little more money and purchase a better table!

I cannot say enough about how beautiful this table looks! Dark Espresso finish with clean contemporary lines and style. Assembly was easy....my husband did say that he was worried at first about the legs being wobbly, but after tightening them up a little more the table is solid! You would pay as much or more for particle board quality tables at other stores. Thank you Overstock!

A very solid piece of furniture. Like other reviews there are some issues with the holes lining up to screw everything together, they did not use a jig so you have to figure out which leg fits where. Other than that it is a great looking piece and very solid, a great addition to my guest bedroom.

this table looked great on the computer,fair in reality , read the reviews and took the bait. I have never bought furniture from Overstock before. it took 3 weeks for the table to get delivered, ( a bit longer than i hoped for) with the top being poorly preconstructed , it stood in the place against my couch where the intension of its new home and i have grown attached to the look, . when the replacement part arrived ( about a week) it had a small defect as well, I will be able to hide this, It will withstand, the light weight items i plan on placing on the table. I dont know if i will order furniture from overstock again.

We had none of the issues with damages to the table that some people have had. We did find that using the wood glue with all the screws made the table much more sturdy, so I would suggest that. Very easy to assemble and looks great in our living room/media room. Great bargain!

This table arrived at my home and immediately gave the entry a new modern look. It was the perfect accent to my new condo. The color was just what I was looking for and the piece was very easy to put together. I was pleased with the weight and sturdiness of the table. I would recommend this table to anyone looking for that finishing touch.

Overall I was very satisfied with the table. I would have given it 5 stars but the finish was patchy in spots where it had not been sanded smooth, causing the finish to be dull in those few spots (not enough to compromise the overall appearance). Overall it was a very good bargain, the wood solid (It has a visible wood grain which you can't tell from the picture). The problem noted from prior reviews that there were too few screws has been corrected, there were 12 screws. You have to play around with the placement of the legs to insure the predrilled holes line up but other than that the assembly was really fast (less than an hour) and the table is very sturdy. Looks great in my living room.

2nd table ordered that arrived damaged....a shame....would have been a good addition. Overstock really needs to check rest of supply of this product.

The shipping and delivery was fast as always with overstock. However, there were some damage to one of the top shelves. A piece was chipped off the top of the shelf. A little bit of black marker fixed that however. The appearance of the table is also very beautiful, the shining surface has some beautiful dark red hint to it. However, the workmanship of this table is questionable. there are just 8 screws holding the top shelve, and after a friend of mince placed them, the legs were really wobbly . So we fixed another shelve, hoping that would make it more sturdy, and no such luck.. The table is heavy, but not as sturdy as i hoped. Probably it will be OK to put a 30''-40'' inch tv on it. but I hoped it would be sturdier.

This is a gorgeous table -- the wood looks luminescent and shines beautifully! I have it by a wall of windows with a vintage black porcelain pony lamp with a green louvered shade, as well as a handmade pottery piece with a philodendren in it. It looks absolutely fabulous. However, I don't think it would withstand any hard use (no little ones in the household, please!). My pottery plant holder made marks on the wood almost instantly. I highly recommend it for a high style look -- fits in with my mix of antique and contemporary furniture.

The color is much richer than it appears online. It is almost a dark chesnut with a touch of cherry. It has a beautiful shine and I love it. The grain of the wood shows through nicely. As the instructions recommed, you will need a helper to assemlbe. Or at least it makes assembly much easier. Shipping took a little longer than I expected, but it was worth the wait.

I read all the reviews prior to making my purchase decision. I was very concerned about damages during shipment, but when I opened up the box, I knew that I had lucked out. Even though the packaging was slightly damaged and loose, the contents were safe and secure.Assembly was pretty simple, just two screws on each leg to secure to the top shelf, then one screw to secure the bottom shelf to each leg. One leg was cracked along the joint, but I decided not to bother with the returns process. Once bolted in place, it wasn't that obvious.Another leg had a chip, so I strategically positioned these two legs on what would be the rear side of the table, facing the wall. After assembly, I placed it in my foyer and the damages were not visible. They were minor, anyway.It looks pretty good. The color depicted in the picture is a pretty realistic representation of its true color. Looks great in my foyer with dark wood flooring.I gave it an overall 3-star rating, simply because of the defects, plus I had to drill new pilot holes for the screws in a few spots because the holes didn't line up. But no biggie; a simple fix with a power drill.Overall, I would recommend it. After all said and done, a nice looking piece. Pretty sturdy, although I used the glue (based on reviews here) and I would recommend you do the same.

Love it, love it. It looks very expensive and is a very unique piece of furniture. It was easy to assemble, and while the design is very simple, it's really eyecatching. A worthwhile purchase for our dining room.

This table was very easy to assemble. We really like the table. My only issue is the table is almost black....................I thought it was a dark brown but it is more black than brown.

Was a little worried about putting it together. But it was actually fairly simple, just 12 screws, the top came attached, so it was just installing the legs and the bottom shelf. I managed by myself. Mine did include the glue which I used. Fits perfectly in the space in my bedroom and holds my TV nicely.

I absolutely love this. The assembley was extremely easy. The finish is beautiful. The price was great. This piece really added style to my living room. I recommend to all.
